It's More Fun in Ateneo De Manila University

Wazzup Pilipinas!

March 23 2013 was the start of my summer vacation. And it started so "boringly" because I planted myself to a chair facing the computer and sometimes in the front of TV. My summer was not that so exciting but it went calmly even if I didn’t go to some far places.

April 22, 2013 was our scheduled day for our first day of review classes in Ateneo De Manila University. I went there for more than once already to watch volleyball but I still didn’t memorize how to get there.

Our first day was sort of a very funny experience because we commuted early in the morning and hustled with other people. We did that because we have no choice - we’re afraid to be late. And that happened ‘til the end. The rooms assigned to us were air-conditioned so I’m very thankful but after some hours it got cold - so cold.

In the morning, we were at the Faura Hall for Math classes and in the afternoon, at the Aerie Hall for Science. But there was a time that we had classes in a room that was so hot. The room was in an open space but it had no electric fans.

When we had a break at lunch time, we decided to walk around the Ateneo campus and took some pictures.  Their campus was so big. I pitied myself and said “Oh, how I wish my PCSHS was like this too”.

Ateneo De Manila's buildings were so big and majority of the rooms were air-conditioned. The football fields where you can play and run freely were also big. It was also easier to walk on the sidewalks because their ways are well-constructed. The canteen, where so many students eat, was very spacious.

There were also many trees to look at which can relax you. There were a lot of good things to see.

We also mingled with the Atenean students. I’m happy I got there because not only did I saw the big campus of ADMU but I also saw my friends with big smiles in their faces. We had more time of bonding while studying.

Even if I didn’t go to any far flung place this summer, it was so memorable. Even if I wasn't able to go to my relatives, it was so relaxing because my family is there, still with me. I hope this review classes will help me in my college and for my future life. CATs and CETs, here I come!

  1. It's really good to know that you (too) spent your summer productively. You enjoyed your vacation, and at the same time, accomplished something. Good luck for the college entrance examinations! :)

  2. I really admire the author on how did she spend her summer vacation for this year. She still chose to review for the upcoming college entrance examinations instead of just hanging out and having fun just like the other students did. Well, I can see that she really enjoyed her vacation. This article also gave me an idea of what ADMU looks like. I hope you'll pass the exams. ((:
