Top 10 Sport Athletes of the Decades - Pine Advisors Financially and Physically Genius

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Floyd Mayweather state on his official Facebook account that he made his numbers with no sponsors.  "First I want to congratulate every other athlete on this list and second I am honored to have accomplished such record breaking numbers.

No disrespect to anyone but I did these numbers really in 5 years due to a couple of layoffs and with NO endorsements. I never wanted an endorsement deal from anyone because my vision was always to be my own boss and have no obligations to anyone.

So I started my own promotion company and own brand (TMT) in which we are continuing to grow and soon will be the endorsers. You can say what you want about Floyd Mayweather but the numbers and accolades don’t lie. This is truly about hard work and dedication and knowing your worth."

Which is I totally disagree, although I am a super TBE fan. Because I saw him endorsing a lot of Jewelry like in Japan, different cars, clubs, sports, business investments and also the Hublot famous watch brand. Although that is his style in accumulating his wealth to climb up at #1 in the Forbes list this week.

The Top 10 on forbes list for me is not realistic for instance, Lebron, Manny and Tiger several endorsements with Nike and other brands seems not very accurate. Also Hamilton's tax declaration, also because he travel a lot all the time and is based in Monaco which is a tax free haven.

We don't know exactly what happened behind the scenes. As they made profit share with the brand or business in any form. Some of them did gambling and re invest it in Politics and several business ventures.

But one thing for sure is that they very good in making money. As they dominate the sports in the past decade. No matter what financial choices they made. Via investments or what ever form of protection they may made to protect their hard earned income - its up to them.

I witnessed several ways of them doing it by choosing its country of choose. Some buy properties and business in Monaco which is a tax free heaven. Some  of them bought NBA, Football and local Basketball team.

And also some invest in a secret form. For sure the top 10 ranking varies everyday. Because Boxing happened only 1 or 2 times a year. While basketball and football performs in 2-3 times every week. Golfing tournaments was made every or other week. While f1 got 22 races all over the world this coming 2020.

I heard and seen a lot of world champions problem when it comes to money management and retirement. Some or most of them are broke. Even facing a lot of real controversies. So why money management is essential? Because in this way you can invest and save or foresee what will happen on your money in the next years or decade.

So you need an advice of financial experts like Pine Advisors. Dwayne Johnson of the Rock made a  movie series called "Ballers". As a ex NFL player he shows cager the importance of savings and money management among athletes. Because there's always the peak and lows of your career.

When it comes to sports performance - that you cant be great all the time. You will never know when to retire may it be in 1, 5 or 10 years. So what you gonna do if you got injured or no longer profitable in sports business?

Money management comes in many forms see Pine Advisors Money Management options. That provides various services and solutions. So you better look for an alternatives while you are still active in sports or event in corporate raider life. Just like sports the retirement is quite fast as early as 30's or even 20's.

Not the usual 60's in corporate or government of office life. So whether you agree on Top 10 Sport Athletes of the Decades made by Forbes. All I can say is that they are still the most successful when it comes to Financial matters because they are into show me sport business.

Like those newborn babies, these pets are also fragile and they acquire diseases easier and faster.

Who doesn't love pets? Some are feared of snakes, that's Ophidiophobia. Some are feared of monkeys, now that's called maimouphobia. There are lots of phobias to animals out there. Phobias occur maybe from accidents or events that something happened with that specific type of animal.

Hey, we're getting off-topic. Lots of people asks, "How to take care of pet". Remember, there's no perfect way in taking care of your pet. But here are some guidelines on how to take care of your pets. THESE MAY HELP YOU!

1. You should spend time taking care of them. We should consider our pets as members of our family. Spend quality time with them by feeding them, playing with them or just petting them.

Tuklas Lunas for Accessible, Affordable and Reliable Drugs

Wazzup Pilipinas!

According to Undersecretary Rolando Enrique Domingo of the Department of Health (DoH), the Philippines still pay higher prices for medicines than other countries. This high cost of medicine is a barrier to access reliable healthcare solutions, especially for low to middle income families. To address issues on access of drugs, the Department
of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and
Development (DOST-PCHRD) established the Tuklas Lunas™ Program which aims
to produce reliable and affordable medicine sourced from our very own biodiversity.

As part of our country’s tradition, communities have been using remedies sourced from our very own biodiversity as a relief from ailments. These learnings served as the foundation for the development of the Lagundi and Sambong products under the Council’s National Integrated Research Program on Medicinal Plants (NIRPROMP).

The Tuklas Lunas Program builds on what had been started by NIRPROMP in
refining the DOST-PCHRD’s drug discovery and development program with two
tracks: the drug and herbal track. To implement the program, 28 Tuklas Lunas Centers (TLDCs) all over the country were established, each research institutions
working on the unique resources of each region. The 28 research implementing
institutions are distributed as follows: 17 TLDCs in Luzon, six in Visayas and five in
Mindanao.

Some of the most advanced projects under the program include university-industry
partnerships. Pharmalytics Corporation working with the De La Salle University
Medical Health Sciences Institute (DLSU-HSI) is now undertaking clinical trials for the Dengue Herbal Drug to determine the safety combination of three plants identified to have effect against the dengue virus. Meanwhile, UP Manila, UP Diliman,
Pharmalytics Corporation, Herbanext Laboratories and the Pascual Lab focus on
formulating standardized dosage forms from 28 plants for possible anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-gout and anti-hypertensive applications.

Drug discovery and development is one of the priority areas for health research set
under the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) and the Harmonized
National Health Research and Development Agenda (HNRDA).

2019 Oath Taking of the Newly Conferred and Upgraded Scientists

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The 2019 Oath Taking of the Newly Conferred and Upgraded Scientists was held on December 16, 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City.  The Oath Taking was hosted by the Scientific Career System (SCS) and the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL).

The SCS is a system of recruitment, career progression, recognition, and reward of scientists in the public service as means of developing a pool of highly qualified and productive scientific personnel.  The system is an effort to uplift personnel in government institutions where the number of higher plantilla positions is limited.  Co-implemented by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) with the CSC Chairman and DOST Secretary serving as Co-chairs of the Scientific Career Council, the SCS program is now administered by the NAST PHL.

Conferred Scientists are ranked to and receive the corresponding salary grade as follows: Scientist I – SG 26; Scientist II –SG 27; Scientist III – SG 28; Scientist IV – SG 29, and Scientist V – SG 30.  Conferred Scientists are also entitled to receive the following support grants: Representation and Travel Allowance; Magna Carta Benefits; Membership in International Scientific Organization and/or subscription to Scientific Journals; Publication Assistance; and Foreign Travel Assistance for oral paper presentation of 3,000USD per SCS Scientist every two years.

Latest evaluation of candidates to the SCS program resolved to confer scientist rank on five researchers and upgrade the rank of two active scientists.  Three of the researchers and one upgraded scientist come from the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) of the Department of Agriculture (DA); one, from the Ecosystems and Development Bureau (ERDB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); and two, from the Philippine nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) of DOST.

To take their oath under Agriculture Sciences Discipline are Mr. Edwin C. Martin, Dr. Jonathan M. Niones from Phil Rice, Mr. Sotero S. Resilva from PNRI, Dr. Jose Alan A. Castillo from ERDB; under Social Sciences Discipline is Dr. Jesusa C. Beltran from Philrice; under Engineering and Technology Discipline is Ricardo F. Orge from PhilRice, and Dr. Lucille V. Abad from PNRI under the Natural Sciences Discipline.

With this development, the roster of scientists conferred under the System brings the total number to 172 since the System was institutionalized in 1983 by the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

Blueberry Croquet Blueberry Croissant 2019 - Food - NC To Do

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I love making strata - these pans that consist of bread and fruit or layered vegetables with cheeses (or not) and an egg cream. You do them in advance, which make them perfect for entertainment, and when you're ready to eat, all you do is a cook and dig!

This recipe looks like a stratum, but it also reminds me of French toast. The Eggy cream soaks in bread, in this case, laminated croissants, and the sharp edges and the tender interior is very similar to French toast. I added blueberries and streusel to oats for more flavor and interest.

You can make this recipe with other fruits if you wish. Try to use blackberries, raspberries or even strawberries. Peaches or nectarines would be good too. Peel peaches - you do not need to peel the nectarines.

Serve this wonderful breakfast or brunch pan with crisp bacon and a fruit salad made with the best products you can find. Add a mimosa or orange juice and hot coffee for a fabulous meal that everyone will love.

What you will need

• 8 big croissants
• 1-1 / 2 cup blueberries, washed and drained
• 1 cup of milk
• 1/2 cup fresh cream <4 eggs
• 1/3 cup of sugar
• 2 teaspoons of vanilla
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 cup of regular or quick-cooking porridge
• 1/3 cup butter, softened

How to do it

Tear or cut croissants into 1 "pieces and place in 2-qt. Grilled casserole. You can use more or fewer croissants if you like, depending on Add blueberries to the dish and spread them evenly between crescent pieces, put aside

In a medium bowl, combine milk, cream, eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, and vanilla and mix well with a whisk until combined.

Pour the egg mixture slowly and evenly over the croissants and blueberries in the dish and gently squeeze your hands to coat the croissants. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight

In another medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and oatmeal and mix well. Cut softened butter until pea-sized particles form. In a bowl and refrigerate.

When you are ready to eat, preheat the oven to 375 ° F. fold evenly with the oat streusel.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until streusel are golden and croissants are slightly inflated. The temperature should be at least 160 ° F, measured with a food thermometer. Let cool 5 minutes, and then serve.

Rotaractors Volunteer for the 7th Immersion & Outreach Activity of Books and Toys for Mangyan Children (BTMC) Project

Wazzup Pilipinas!

For Rotaract leaders, to live a fulfilling life is to learn something new everyday. They manifested this belief through service when clubs from different parts of the country came together to volunteer for the 7th Immersion & Outreach Activity of Sigaw ng Kabataan Coalition's Books and Toys for Mangyan Children (BTMC) Project and by helping plant mangrove trees and propagate corals in Puerto Galera.

Inspired by a Hanoi-based NGO that was founded by a World Economic Forum fellow, BTMC Project aims to empower ethnic minorities such as the Tau-buid Mangyan Tribe by providing them opportunities for livelihood development, access to education, and other basic social services.

As the project evolves from a humble gift-giving activity into an annual project that aimed to improve the quality of life of the tribesmen, more Rotaract leaders gained interest to volunteer and lead in organizing its activities.

The volunteers had the chance to know more about the tribe, the culture, their language, and their situation during the outreach and immersion activity in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro.

Together with their corporate partner, Uratex Foundation, the team provided materials that would help improve the tribe’s basic and functional literacy as well as improve their hygiene and sanitation condition. They also had a simple meal together where the volunteers prepared “Pancit na may maraming maraming sardinas”, as requested by one of the tribe leaders.

It should be noted that most Mangyans in the Tau-buid Tribe find it difficult understanding Tagalog since some of them only attained their education up to primary level, while most never had any formal education at all. They would have to travel long distances just to reach schools and some of them would rather just work to help their families. During the storytelling and coloring activity, one of the Mangyans, “Tatay Paner” was given a copy of a book. At first, he tried to refuse saying, “Hindi ako marunong magkulay o magbasa” (I do not know how to color or to read). He also mentioned that it was the first time that he held a book. When asked about his age, he answered saying “hindi ako sigurado, siguro mga nasa singkwenta na ako. Hindi rin ako sigurado kung anong araw ako ipinanganak.” (I’m not sure, but probably around 50 years old. I’m not sure either what day I was born).

One of volunteer-Rotaractors began reading the story to him and taught him how to color. In the end, Tatay Paner finished coloring the entire page and promised to finish the entire book and show it to the team on their succeeding visits.

According to a volunteer, talking with the tribesmen made them realize how hard their life is compared to that of the volunteers. They need to walk for hours to search for food, materials to use in creating Sabe (Mangyan handicraft), or to simply reach the town. This shows their adaptability and creativity in finding ways to survive, but just because they have the means to live does not mean that they do not need help. They still do not have access to basic necessities such as potable water, proper hygiene and sanitation facilities. There are still many aspects in their day-to-day life that needs improvement.

After the immersion, the BTMC Project team proceeded to Elizabeth's Hideaway Resort in Puerto Galera to stay for the night and for a Mangrove tree planting and coral propagation activity the day after. There they learned how essential mangroves are in restoring the balance of our ecosystem, in protecting our communities from storm surges, and in providing habitat for fishes and crustaceans.

To cap the day, the volunteers were given time to enjoy the beach through activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and canoeing. They also had interactions with farm animals raised by the Resort's owner, who is also a Rotarian and an Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 3820, PP Carlos Garcia. AG Carlos together with Rotary Club of Puerto Galera Bay President, Noel Cataquis hosted the team in Puerto Galera. President Maricel "Icel" Dino of the Rotary Club of Pinamalayan Central also hosted the initial batch of organizers during the stay in Pinamalayan prior to the immersion..

There was also signing of friendship and sisterhood agreements among participating clubs.
