My Sun Kissed Skin Summer Experience

Wazzup Pilipinas!

What is summer? Well, summer is one of the awaited moments for us students who are very looking forward for this where we can enjoy and somehow forget our stressful days when we’re still at school busy on studying different lessons everyday that made us sometimes a haggard person and most of the time a sleepless person busy doing some projects and schoolwork.

We always say that “ I wish it’s already summer” good news the long wait is over. Most of us experienced and enjoyed summer before another school year is about to start. While some are busy about some things that made them not to enjoy summer.

How about my summer? Hmmm. I can say that my summer somehow went well, even though I’ve been very busy few weeks before classes are about to start because I took the summer class for almost a month. And only given a chance to rest for few more days. But good thing that before I spent the last month of my summer of being a busy student this summer. I enjoyed it already.

My friends thought of having an outbound together this summer because we didn’t see each other after the school year ended. And so we planned about it but some are not free with their hectic schedule on their UPCAT reviews and such so some of us weren’t able to come. Still we decided to continue the outbound and still hoping that all of us will be able to come. Luckily, there were many of us and few who didn’t.

We started to swim at one in the afternoon which the sun was burning hot. We don't even bother how hot the afternoon is still we continue to swim because what we really care about is enjoying the day and make the most out of it.We already felt the summer breeze and how the sun kissed our skin leaving them sunburns and uneven skin tone.

And even though I don't know how to swim still I enjoyed but there's a part of me that keeps on telling that I should've enjoyed a lot more If only I knew how to swim. From then I realized that I should take swimming classes by summer next year so that I would fully feel the presence of a deep pool and never be afraid of drowning.

We had some singing in the karaoke too and ate a lot of foods until our stomach were full. And of course we took pictures when our vanity strikes us. We had enormous epic shots which include our epic faces, failed jump shots and underwater pictures which for me it came out well.

These are some of our captured pictures:

I just find these pictures cool and awesome!

It was already past eight in the evening when we decided to pack up our things and leave the venue. Next thing I know is we are on our way home with smiles on our faces and memories we will treasure and never forget.

Weeks has passed and my family and I just spent our summer at home because my sisters are busy having their tri-semestral class while mom is busy with her work and I am busy too with my summer class but during weekends we make sure to hang out at the mall and ate dinner together. That is how my summer was spent.

All in all it turned out well and I can say that I enjoyed my summer this year.

  1. Hi Khristine! :) Oh y, I envy you for being such a busy person this summer. Though, I have my own share of summer fun too, I could've spent it well with the people I love. I should have used my summer time productively. It's also very nice of you to spend it equally with your friends, family, and school. Keep improving your social life.
That's a genuine thing to do.

  2. Hello Kristine! I enjoyed reading your article! I can just imagine how enjoyed you were during those times. I'm actually jealous since I was not allowed to join that outbound. Of course, with our UPCAT review, we were left with nothing but busy days and packed schedules. I hope we can try swimming next time! :)

  3. Hi Banqs! It's good to know that you spent your summer productively. You attended summer classes, which I wish I had. I chose the UPCAT REVIEW than summer classes because summer is the only time I have to attend these reviews. Well, what we did this summer is for our own good so there's nothing to regret. Like you, I also enjoyed some swimming get together. Unfortunately, the one we planned for FRANKLIN was not able to happen. I hope we can spend a summer together. :)
