Wazzup Pilipinas!
Each one of us would like to be able to run a business, may it be big or small, solo entrepreneurship, partnership, or even a corporation. But almost everyone starts out small (unless they have a rich financier, or kapag big-time si Daddy, or when you suddenly win in the Lotto, or got a huge "pamana" or inheritance).
For those who do not have the means yet to make it instantly big, there is a new website that allows us to post our small businesses or "rakets" and gather attention from the public looking for products and services online.
RaketMarket.ph is an online marketplace for Pinoy’s who want to make extra money using the Internet thru “rakets,” or small services. It is also a place where members can sell their own products, or refer the products of other members and receive a certain amount from the sale.
But wait, everyone can actually also post in the site regardless if they're business is big already (though many of them can afford aggressive promotions already if they really are "big" enough). The site adds opportunity for the business owner to increase its potential customers, and since its Ambassador is the very popular comedian Tado Jimenez, that's a face you can trust that will surely appeal to the masses or "madlang people".
"Raketistas" are even specially featured on the Raket Market site giving more media mileage for the business owner. For me, the word "raketista" may be a combination of the two words "raket" (business) and "artista" (artist or celebrity) since the business owners here will mostly become of celebrity status when featured by the site especially when customers interested with their products or services start coming in and inquiring.
I believe majority of Filipinos have that entrepreneurial spirit and are courageous enough to take the risk. That is why such sites like Raket Market is truly great news especially for the likes of some that have just began testing the sometimes murky waters of business.
The tagline “Kita Tayo!” aims to connect buyers and sellers thru the products and services being offered on the website. RaketMarket.ph understands that Pinoys are very talented and are easily to work with, making them among the highly demanded highly-skilled workers around the world.
Since more Filipinos are now spending so much time online, RaketMarket thought of offering a venue that can help our members offer their ‘rakets’ or small services, starting at P200 thru “Kita sa Raket.” In this section, members can browse through the different Rakets offered, communicate with the Raketistas or the sellers and discuss about their needs and details of their service.
Among the categories included are Advertising & Promo, Marketing and Sales, Writing & Translation, Tech & Programming, Graphic Arts & Design, Videos & Production, Tips & Training, Music, Clothing & Fashion, Music & Lyrics & Editing, and many more.
For “Kita sa Referral,” which is the country’s first Refer2Earn online program, RaketMarket members can make money thru referrals. Here, members can send their referrals to advertisers who are looking for customers, clients, employees or contacts, depending on their needs. Referrals that have successfully completed the refer2earn ad’s terms will receive the agreed amount from the advertiser.
There is also “Kita sa Benta”, which is RaketMarket’s Classified Ads section. Here, members can post unlimited ads for any kind of product for free.
Raketistas, Refer2Earn advertisers and Classified ad sellers can also have their posts highlighted on the website for more exposure. Contact sales@raketmarket.ph for more details on premium ad posts.
