Urban Kitchen Showcases Kitchen Wonders

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I got to attend an event that I was hoping why wife should be attending if she was blogging because it fits perfectly for her being the master of the kitchen. I do cook every once in a while but she still outdo me in all types of kitchen tasks.

But whoah! Our guest chef during the event was a man. I guess the "bigger kitchen" has been dominated by men already. When before there were only cooks, now there have been a proliferation of chefs - of the male species - all over the world.

Those huge restaurants in Makati, BGC Taguig, Eastwood, and Quezon City are now highly favorites because of their chefs who know their way in the kitchen and in our stomach.

But these chefs also have their own favorites aside from the dishes that they meticulously prepare. Yup! you've probably guessed right if you said : kitchenwares!

The Urban Kitchen product launch was held at the clubhouse of McKinley Hills Village located in McKinley, BGC of Taguig.

This is where I went by walking from Venice Piazza after attending an earlier event there.

Providing products that are world class, quality wise, and elegant, Urban Kitchen takes the center stage of the McKinley Hill Village’s Clubhouse last July 18, 2013 to showcase their latest line of kitchen and tableware products.

Urban Kitchen had provided two main areas for everyone’s appreciation on the event themed, “Chill in the City.” The Urban Kitchen Juice Bar and the Urban Kitchen Salad Bar highlighted their key products such as; beverage and juice dispenser, salad bowls, condiment set and chip/cake servers.

These tablewares made the event much appreciated due to the ease and the comfort that it had given the guests. To test the “ease of use” and the “quality” of the products that they are showcasing on the event, the guests are free to enjoy the foods and drinks that are served with Urban Kitchen’s kitchen and tableware products.

Sam Oh was there as the vibrant host to the event as she guided us through a few demonstrations using Urban Kitchen wares. It was my first time to see her in person so I was amazed by how alive and full of punk her hosting was. It sure brought out some excitement from the crowd especially when they held a contest to see who among the five volunteers would get to find the most "easter eggs" (not literally).

And after a demo on how to concoct the perfect cocktail it is then poured into an Urban Kitchen glassware. Doesn't that look refreshingly awesome!

To further entertain the crowd, international trained Chef Ernest Reynoso Gala, the managing director of GalaStars Culinary School and also a newspaper and magazine columnist, has prepared and served some healthy homemade salads and snacks using Urban Kitchen’s products that can mainly contribute to enhance their salad and veggie presentations at home.

I was fortunate, or make that the lucky victim (as I was just pushed to particiapte,....hehehe), to be part of the demo as Chef Ernest Reynoso Gala prepared the salad dressing.

Too bad I don't have pictures of me helping out in the demo...but I'm sure there will be someone out there to post it online soon.
