Wazzup Pilipinas TV: Tutok na sa Pambansang TV Show ng Pilipinas on May 2

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Tuloy na tuloy na ito!!!! Tutok na sa pinakabagong lifestyle TV show na hindi nakakasawa, hindi nakakaumay at tunay na pang-masa!

Wazzup Pilipinas TV will start airing on May 2, 2015 - that's every primetime Saturday from 8 to 9 pm on IBC 13.

Watch out for our awesome line-up of guests from many types of businesses and lifestyle attractions  like top and emerging restaurants, barbershops, salons; skin, dental and health care clinics, hotels, resorts and other destinations, fashionable clothing and accessories, gadgets and technology innovations, events and gatherings, prominent personalities and celebrities, plus a lot more.

Hosting the show are the witty, wacky but definitely talented trio of Ross Del Rosario (The Pambansang Blogger ng Pilipinas), Bart Abaya (The Philippine Barter King) and Coach Dave Aguila (The Common Sense Investor).

There will also be a few segment co-hosts for special features like Halal cooking courtesy of Chef Tato from the Muslim community; guest appearances from law, business and financial planning experts who will share tips and insights, and special news and events coverage from Wazzup Pilipinas field correspondents. Also watch out for Wazzup Pilipinas promos, contests and giveaways every now and then.

I think this is the first time that a blog has made it into a TV show, and I am ever so grateful to the people who believed in me. Never in my days as a blogger have I imagined or dreamed of having my own TV show bearing my blog's name. My blog was merely an outlet to express my opinions and showcase my interests. It then evolved into a medium to promote everything about the Philippines, and an opportunity to collaborate with emerging and already popular brands and organizations. It also presented several of my advocacies like tourism campaigns and noble causes.

Discovery Channel To Premiere Air Asia 8501 Special

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Discovery Channel today announced that it will be broadcasting FLIGHT 8501: STORM DISASTER, about the tragic events of Air Asia flight 8501. The aircraft, with its 155 passengers and seven crew, was lost in a storm 40 minutes into its journey from Indonesia to Singapore on 28 December 2014 – concluding the worst year for aviation disasters in a decade. The sixty-minute special attempts to shed some light on the mystery that surrounds the event, and provides one of the most comprehensive explanations as to what happened. FLIGHT 8501: STORM DISASTER will premiere on Discovery Channel on 12 April at 8:00 p.m. (MNL). The special will also air across Asia Pacific and internationally, in more than 220 countries and territories.

Theresa Ong, senior vice president and general manager, Southeast Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, said, “Once again, Discovery is bringing viewers compelling stories that have strong local interest. In the past, topical shows such as HAIYAN: AFTER THE MEGASTORM, AFTER THE WAVE, and FLIGHT 370: THE MISSING LINKS, have resonated well with audiences in the region. These specials help provide insight into the tragedies and tell inspiring stories of bravery and the tenacity of the human spirit in the darkest of hours.”

Comparing and contrasting the story of Air Asia flight 8501 with recent aviation tragedies such as Air France flight 447 and Malaysia Airlines flight 370, the documentary will examine the impact of the Earth’s changing climate on the aviation industry. It will question whether so-called “super storms” are becoming more frequent and severe, putting planes at greater risk than ever before. It will also explore whether today’s aviation technology leaves pilots too dependent on automation, resulting in information overload in critical situations.

AMD FreeSync Technology Has Arrived!

Wazzup Pilipinas!

No stuttering. No tearing. No extra costs. Just smooth gaming. Those are pretty straightforward and reasonable requests from gamers, right? Today it becomes reality with our latest AMD Catalyst™ driver release. This is our first driver with AMD FreeSync™ technology enabled, and I’m happy to report that there are FreeSync technology-enabled monitors shipping or are about to ship imminently. Should this be your first encounter with AMD FreeSync technology, please make sure you check this out first to learn about how it works! You can also find more information on our website.

Speaking of monitors

Below you’ll find a chart with all of the AMD FreeSync technology-compatible monitors announced to date. I’ve had the pleasure of playing around with a few of them, and they’re more than worth your consideration. You may prefer the Acer or BenQ’s 1440p models that have a wide refresh rate range (40-144Hz). Alternatively, proponents of IPS panels or ultra-wide aspect ratios would be keen to check out the 29” or 34” options from LG. And more monitors are on their way. Up to 20 monitors supporting AMD FreeSync technology are in the pipe for 2015, in fact!

Now, think back to when you saw your first HD video—it was difficult to be satisfied with standard-def content. It was for me, anyhow. That’s how I feel about gaming on AMD FreeSync technology. I always disliked tearing and stuttering, but I couldn’t do much about them with yesterday’s technologies. AMD FreeSync technology changes the game, fixing both tearing and stuttering with smooth gameplay at virtually any framerate. I can now dial up the detail without worrying about whether or not I’m sacrificing smoothness, and I find it difficult to game on normal monitors now.

Mad About Mozart: Sex, Seduction, Death, And Transcendence All Set On April 22

Wazzup Pilipinas!

In the theater, the term ‘Black Box’ refers to a space devoted where daring experiments and new visions are tested through performance. Performers who choose to go and perform in a black box are usually the ones with the most open hearts and sincere desire to hone their talent.

With the success of Philippine Opera Company’s Young Artists Black Box Series now on its second season, the audience will witness a bolder and braver take on Mozart’s masterpieces in “Mad About Mozart: Sex, Seduction, Death, and Transcendence”, this time in collaboration with RankOne Productions.

Mad About Mozart: Sex, Seduction, Death, and Transcendence — will present excerpts from the seminal operas and oratorios of Mozart integrated with dance, stream of consciousness narrative, and mixed media. All performers - singers, dancers, actors, and musicians - will be integrated with the audience for an all-immersive 360-degree black box theatre experience. Mozart’s music is alternatingly sacred and profane, exploring the perennial conflict between the id, the ego, and the super ego. Ultimately, the programming of the scenes will demonstrate that we can attain a state of classical ‘balance’ and inner peace by exploring the layered dimensions of dark and light.

As RankOne President/ Executive Creative Director Jon Meer Vera Perez says, the show is, "An exploration of the subversive themes in the seminal operatic works of Mozart; by journeying into the shadow world does one enter into the full grace of Light and Resurrection." The music will be presented in a contemporary setting, with modern and contemporary imagery, to challenge our perceptions of classical music in the 21st century. Mozart’s themes, both the sacred and the profane, are as relevant in 2015 as they were in 1791 when he died, giving us extraordinary insight into how we manage our lives through the choices that we make, and how those actions affect our relationships and the world around us. Ultimately, we only find peace by acknowledging our weaknesses, resolving to learn from our mistakes, and inevitably surrendering to the healing power of forgiveness and eternal Love.

Dynamic and socially responsive, the Fraternity and Sorority were hailed as national finalists in the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
This March 16-21, 2015, they will be launching a series of activities under their annual MU SIGMA PHI SCHOLARSHIP WEEK. This week aims to highlight the organization’s continued commitment to the promotion of exemplary scholastic performance, generosity in sharing knowledge and resources, as well as showcasing academic skills and talents of future doctors all over Luzon and the Philippines.

Lights, Camera, Action for Wazzup Pilipinas TV

Wazzup Pilipinas! has really grown bigger and stronger in such a short time. We are so much surprised of our accomplishments already. After our online media partnerships with many government agencies, brands and other organizations, your Pambansang Blog ng Pilipinas has indeed reached greater heights when it opened its doors to many more partnership opportunities which included contributions to newspapers and magazines, guesting on TV and radio shows, organizing media events, advocacy programs and promotional campaigns, spearheading long-term collaborations with more brands, organizations and agencies, and a lot more activities beyond online media partnerships.

We are proud to announce that we now have a new TV show dubbed as Wazzup Pilipinas TV and it will soon be shown at IBC 13 every Saturday from 8 to 9 in the evening. It is a lifestyle show that will be more than just an online version of the blog. We have made it into a witty and intentionally humorous show to make it more appealing to a wider audience but at the same time filled with useful facts and information to educate and inform the more intellectual audience. In short, we tried our best not to make it boring. Lol!

The Wazzup Pilipinas TV show also capitalizes on using many forms of media to promote both the show and its sponsors so expect your product or service to receive a multitude of media mileage opportunities when you collaborate with us as among our partners or segment sponsors.

Since all of the individuals forming the production team and hosts are multi-talented and well-connected with many forms of media and social influences aside from television, you are assured that it's going to be a comprehensive promotional campaign.
