Indoor Ultimate Developmental League 2014: Congratulations to the Winners!

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Ultimate is a low-contact team field sport played with a plastic flying disc known as a Frisbee. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone, similar to an end zone in American football or the in-goal area in rugby. Needless to say, the game is fast-paced and adrenaline-rising as both teams try to out-skill each other using their speed and stamina in manipulating the Frisbee.

Anticipating where the Frisbee will fly off and how they will effectively send it to a team mate without the opposing team blocking its path. Normally its played outdoors so seeing it played in the convenience of a gym was pleasing to those who shy away from sports played under the sun where the elements add further stress and challenge to an already delicate and precision sport.

The Indoor Ultimate Developmental League (IUDL) is a momentous event since this is the very first time an Ultimate Frisbee is played indoors. We are sending our congratulations to all the teams who placed in the first IUDL!

The January 31 and February 1 schedule allowed many to participate as January 31 was declared a holiday because of Chinese New Year and February 1 was a Saturday.
