Wazzup Pilipinas!

Japanese and Filipino cuisine differ in many ways. But, they have also similarities. Just like us, Japanese  has considered rice as the most important food in Japanese cuisine. Despite changes in eating patterns over the last few decades and slowly decreasing their rice consumption in the recent years, rice still remains the most important food for the Japanese.

Japanese cuisine spread widely in the Philippines. The effect of this was the establishments of Japanese restaurants here in the Philippines. One of the best Japanese restaurants here in the Philippines is the "Tempura Japanese Grill" restaurant.

Here's a photo of it:

One of the best delicacies of this restaurant was the Tempura. Tempura is a Japanese food that consists of seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, or meat coated with batter and deep fried. It has a light, but crispy texture, that may be seasoned with salt or dipped in a light sauce before eating.

Another one of a kind delicacy of this restaurant was their Donburi. Donburi is a bowl of plain cooked rice with some other food on top of it. This food is served at specialty restaurants, but they are also a common dish that can be found on all kinds of restaurant's menus.
