The official sportsbook of the PBA hyped up the season for basketball fans by presenting this year’s PBA Annual Leo Awards that recognizes the exceptional players of the previous season. Named after the league’s founding commissioner, Leo Prieto, the Leo 2023 awardees were led by San Miguel’s Junemar Fajardo who received his historic seventh Most Valuable Player Award during the opening ceremonies.

Thousands of fans participated in this interactive event to show support for their favorite PBA teams and to enjoy the authentic PBA experiences at the ArenaPlus booth where they can play games, win prizes, and take home free merchandise as souvenirs.

The brand’s official dance group, the “Astig Girls” provided more fun and high energy at the event. PBA court idols Simon Enciso of the San Miguel Beermen, Jio Jalalon and Abu Tratter of Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters rookie Keith Datu, and Blackwater Bossing coach Jeffrey Cariaso played games with fans at the brand’s booth and ran with their fans on the track.

Following this pre-opening event, BingoPlus and ArenaPlus also provided fun and entertainment at the 2-day PBA Media Day held on October 24-25 at One Esplanade in Pasay City. In a Filipino culture-themed event, all twelve PBA teams gathered in preparation for the season. The GILAS Pilipinas men’s basketball team also attended the event to show support for the competing teams.
