Diggerland, USA, West Berlin

Diggerland is not an ordinary amusement park. In fact, this park is not for kids at all. Actually, it is the only construction-themed park in the United States. Moreover, the park is always filled with people who are adrenaline junkies. Instead of bumper cars, this amusement park offers unique experiences of driving construction vehicles.

Try their Spin Dizzy, which is a 20-ton excavator modified to carry passengers for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Try to visit this place in October as there is a “Digger Fest” going on where you can enjoy hayride or race the mazes or stunt shows as well.

Old mine road

The old mine is one of the oldest roads that is still being used in the United States which crosses both New Jersey and New York. It is spread from the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area to Kingston, New York which stretches 104 miles on the map. Although, this road has got some upgrades in New York, while a large portion is untouched in New Jersey where it corresponds to Dutch buildings and other historic sites.

Explore the Old Mine road between the Delaware Water Gap and Port Jervis where you can stop for a night at Worthington State Forest.

The Crab Shack

You can get some delicious seafood as New Jersey boasts a long Atlantic Coastline. It is sometimes great to enjoy local delicacies and hang out at the beach. It is said that eating outdoors next to the ocean, with the ocean breeze will eventually make your seafood taste a bit better.

To enjoy such experience, stop in at the Crab Shack which offers fresh and yummy seafood. Try their mouth-watering tuna burger or lip-smacking coconut shrimp or try their all-time classic clam chowder.

Rutgers Garden

Rutgers Garden is located between Turnpike and Route 1 is a little garden which the locals don’t know about. This garden has the second largest collection of holly in the whole United States.

Explore this beautiful garden along with flowers and don’t forget to visit their farmers market because it is sourced directly by the fruits and vegetables grown in these gardens.

The Brewer’s Apprentice, Freehold

The Brewer’s Apprentice is a paradise for all the beer lovers. This place is situated in Freehold and offers a wide range of options to keep yourself entertained. Here, you can make your own beer or wine or mead, if you are interested in that ancient drink!

While it is not just a place for beer lovers, for the non-alcoholic people, there are customizable sodas available. Lucy the Elephant, Atlantic city

Have you ever seen a building in the shape of an elephant? If you want to then visit Atlantic City as there is a 6 story tall building in the shape of an elephant. Designed by James Lafferty in 1881, Lucy is the oldest surviving roadside attraction in the United States! Lucy was built to boost real estate sales but today it has become a place of attraction for the visitors.
