Noel Cruz and His Awesome Life-Like Celebrity Dolls

Wazzup Pilipinas!

"Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray.

His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence.

Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike."

3 stars & a sun! I'm holding up our flag high, proudly waving it, because no one.. noooo one does this amazing creativity, but a Pinoy!

Yes! Noel Cruz is a proud Filipino! Another gifted talent whose intricate repaints on dolls are totally world-class! It makes us real proud we are Filipinos. He may be based in California, but he is still our kababayan!

Noel's paint-overs are really awesome. The dolls totally look like the actual celebs. It's like he paints life into them. Awesome work indeed! So very talented that I would want more than one for my collection. This gentleman has a true gift. This kind of talent always leaves me completely gobsmacked!

"Noel is absolutely intense with the art he is making~ It's stunning, the figures he produces. Honestly, I know I would only purchase certain kinds of models, but you can not deny his flabbergasting talent/skill. Hands of steel and care!!"

We've seen a lot of toys but no one comes close to what Noel does. All the toycons and exhibits I've been attending for so many years did not have the privilege to display masterpieces similar to his works.

Now many would ask why repaint over existing dolls? It's probably because his expertise is in the repaint and not the manufacturing of the dolls from scratch. Let us just say that his canvases are the dolls which he turns into better versions of themselves.

He's like the make-up artist of the celebrities.

These are the kind of toys I would want to buy and not the lifeless action figures devoid of actual human emotions. The devil is in the details... this is hellishly good. It's so freaking life-like, it's sort of creeps me out. But that was a compliment. The life he puts into the eyes of all his dolls is absolutely amazing. Every detail of the face is incredibly realistic than the original dolls. Mass produced dolls just fall short of what he can do. If only all Barbie's were to this life-like standard.

All this contouring is AMAZING!!! I would LOVE to have one of these works of art! But I'm sure they must be expensive! Imagine the time and patience that is put into each one of these dolls.

Now somebody asked that if he can do that with the little dolls, I wonder if he can do the same detailed expertise on something bigger? I bet he would be snapped up by the famous museums that make wax figures of famous people. But I believe that would be a lot easier to do. The real talent is what he is doing right now. The smaller the canvas, the more precise he has to be.

He's been featured on magazines, online sites and even our local TV show at GMA 7 Kapuso Jessica Soho so we are pretty sure he is authentic and his works are real. No Photoshop magic here.

I would love to meet him in person so we could get our very own photos and even a video of how he does it. This breath-taking artistry is something worth emulating. It isn't everyday we see similar works. I would be honored to have a one-on-one interview with the guy. It would also be great if they can produce a time-lapse video of the man in action. Below is a video I found on YouTube that shows the transformations on the face of a Farah Fawcett doll.
