The long wait is over for Power Mac Center’s App Arcade Tournament as the premier Apple partner in the Philippines rolls off Arcadium for 2. For the first time in the tournament’s history, participating gamers can form a tag team and pit themselves against other pairs for a chance to win premier Apple products and third-party accessories.

Power Mac Center’s Arcadium event, now on its fourth year of staging, serves as an exciting and competitive platform for Apple fans to play game apps and bring gaming to the next level.

Discovery Channel Celebrates the Life and Achievements of Lee Kuan Yew

March 2015 marked the end of an era for Singapore, with the passing of former Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. Discovery Channel pays tribute to the man who is regarded as the founding father of modern Singapore in FATHER OF A NATION: LEE KUAN YEW, a one-hour special that celebrates his life and chronicles some of his greatest achievements. The programme will air on 24 March at 9pm.

In a matter of decades, Singapore has emerged from a rural backwater island and evolved into a bustling economic powerhouse. Despite its lack of natural resources, the country now stands proud as one of Asia's Tigers and this leap from third world to first can be attributed to one man - Lee Kuan Yew. 

Lee Kuan Yew was the first prime minister of Singapore, governing for three decades. He is also one of history's longest-serving ministers, holding successive ministerial positions spanning more than 50 years. Known for his foresight and leadership, the eloquent and outspoken politician is hailed as one of Asia's most influential figures and has been praised by other world leaders such as former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel, and U.S. president Barack Obama.

Lubao International Balloon Festival 2015 on March 26 to 29

Following the successful event last year, Lubao is set to host the 2^nd Lubao International Balloon Festival on March 26,27,28, and 29, 2015 in Pradera Verde, Brgy. Prado Siongco, Lubao, Pampanga.

Dubbed as the biggest hot air balloon festival in Southeast Asia, the event is set to feature around 46 multi-colored and special shaped hot air balloons.  Some of the special shapes to look forward to will be heart shape balloons, Darth Vader balloon, Master Yoda balloon, Humpty Dumpty, and more.

Adding to the excitement are various ground activities which will include wakeboarding, paragliding, sky diving, animal balloon show, giant lantern show, and cultural shows.  The event will also stage daily concerts featuring some of Philippine’s biggest bands like Kamikaze and The Chocolate Factory.  There will also be an area for food concessionaires and for bazaar.

Tickets for the event are sold at Php250.00 and are available at any SM City ticket outlets.  You can also buy your tickets in bulk and get a 10% discount for every ten tickets at Oxford Hotel in Clark.  Entrance for kids below 3 feet are free and senior citizens are entitled to a 20% discount.
