Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones inducted on February 9 the largest batch of third level DepEd officials appointed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte at the Eugenio Lopez Center, Antipolo City, Rizal.

Secretary Briones administered the oath-taking of 25 newly-appointed DepEd officials and challenged them to passionately serve the agency and its constituents and be faithful to their sworn duty.

"Be faithful to your oath, be faithful to the terms of references, to the terms of your responsibilities. I think that is a tough challenge at this time because giving your faith and allegiance to a country, to a population of 100 million humans is the real challenge," Sec. Briones emphasized.

Among the inductees were new Assistant Secretary Juan Valeriano C. Respicio IV, Central Office Directors Marivic Leano (Education Assessment), Joel Erestain (Palarong Pambansa Secretariat), Jennifer Lopez (Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development), Samuel Soliven (Bureau of Curriculum Development), Lope Santos III (Bureau of Learner Support Services), and Ariz Delson Acay Cawilan (Bureau of Learning Resources).

ASec. Respicio thanked DepEd officials for guiding third-level officials in crafting leadership philosophy that they can use in serving the public. He also challenged his fellow appointees to take an active role in forwarding the mission of the Department.

"I trust that this breakthrough in our professional life will deepen our commitment to public service as we bring change to our perspective sphere of influence. As we remain committed to upholding the standards of selfless leadership, may we take meaningful strides and play an active role towards a better, stronger, and progressive Department of Education," ASec. Respicio said.

Regional Directors Ruth Fuentes (Region IX), Carlito Rocafort (Region XII), Tolentino Aquino (Region I), Evelyn Fetalvero (Region VIII), Salustiano Jimenez (Region VII), Nicolas Capulong (MIMAROPA), Francis Cesar Bringas (CALABARZON), and Benjamin Paragas (Region II) were also officially sworn to office.

Cachuela representing Math Teachers as their new members.

So no matter what happens, it is hard for some people to get the sleep they require at the end of a long trying day. We all know there's nothing better than a good night's sleep, but it can be hard to find that peace and comfort during the day.

Sometimes, no matter how much we sleep, we cannot get a good night's rest. As humans, we all get tired after a big day and sometimes can't find the energy to fall asleep at night.

So what are some things you can do to make your sleep more peaceful? Don't worry! This blog explains some essential tips, including taking HHC cannabinoid that everyone should follow to get a better and more peaceful sleep.

8 Tips You Can Follow To Have A Better And Peaceful Sleep

Sleep is vital for our health, and rest is an essential aspect of getting through the day. However, if you don't get enough sleep, your body will not function properly. So it's important to know what you can do to improve our sleep quality.

There are many factors needed to get good sleep, and the quality of your sleep is essential. However, here are the eight tips that can help you have better sleep:

● Reduce Blue Light Exposure In The Evening

The blue light from your smartphone screen can stay on for hours through an entire night. It is this blue light that helps to keep you awake at night. Even if you try to sleep with no screens for a few days, you will still have some trouble sleeping because of the blue light from every device around you. There are many ways to eliminate this blue light exposure, including moving your phone away from your bed, wearing blue-blocking glasses, and keeping your phone in airplane mode before going to bed. It will help reduce the amount of blue light coming into your bedroom and make it easier for you to fall asleep.

● Increase Bright Light Exposure In The Morning

Light is the essential element for a healthy and happy life. The light activates all cells in the body-brain, muscles, skin, cells. Lack of light during sleep is one of the main reasons for insomnia. Bright light exposure in the morning helps to have a better and more peaceful sleep. It is because sunny light exposure has an antidepressant action and improves mood. Exposure to bright light positively impacts blood pressure and heart rate.

● Do Not Eat Late In The Evening

Sleep helps your mind and body to restore and rejuvenate. Eating at night can make you feel full, and so you will have difficulty falling asleep due to uncomfortable aches or excessive eating of food. But if you are eating late dinner or drinking too much coffee, you tend to have an interrupted sleep which makes you tired the next day. So it would help if you tried to avoid having a heavy meal in the evening and not drink coffee more than two hours before bedtime. Also, try to avoid snack foods that cause belly fat, like cookies, chips, and pretzels.

● Consume HHC Cannabinoid Supplement

Consuming HHC Cannabinoid Supplement helps to have a better and more peaceful sleep. It does so by calming the mind and relieving stress, anxiety, and insomnia for those suffering from them. It further helps reduce anxiety and relax muscles, making you feel more relaxed and less stressed throughout your body. It is a 100% natural dietary supplement with all-natural ingredients used for centuries by people who suffer from certain conditions such as insomnia or pain.

● Avoid Drinking Caffeine Late In The Day

Avoiding drinking caffeine late in the day helps to have a better and more peaceful sleep. Prolonged or high levels of caffeine consumption are famous for interfering with sleep and slowing down the central nervous system. Thus, by avoiding caffeinated drinking beverages at night, you will be able to feel more refreshed in the morning.

● Cut Your Screen Time

When we are sleeping, the body is at rest. When there is too much technology in our lives, especially when screens are staring us in the face all day long, it can be hard to turn off the devices. It can be incredibly distracting, causing us to constantly check our phone or computer throughout the day. If you cut down on your screen time, it will help lead to a more peaceful sleep and less stress for you and your children.

● Limit Your Alcohol Consumption

If you drink alcohol and it keeps you up at night, you are sleep-deprived. As sleep deprivation worsens, your brainwaves become slow, and your hormones are not activated properly. You will have difficulty falling asleep, waking up multiple times during the night, being unable to stay awake all day, feeling very tired the next day, and obsessively thinking about things that have happened the day before (you have a think piece). It can be devastating for your health, leading to many other problems such as diabetes, weight gain, and depression.

● Avoid Too Many Naps In The Day

Avoiding too many naps is one of the secret ways to have a better, peaceful, and restful sleep. It is a common sleep problem that results from a person having more than 8 hours of sleep in 24 hours. When you have too many naps in the day, you can wake up feeling tired and groggy because your body has been in partial sleep mode. You may be able to get by with less sleep, but it will cause tiredness or fatigue, making you feel grumpy and irritable throughout the day.

Conclusion

Everyone has their means to be able to have a better sleep. You can make sure that your bed is comfortable and have everything you need. Some people like white noise, while others love silence. It's about what makes you feel comfortable.

However, many different factors can affect your sleep, so it is essential to consider these and find the best solution for your needs.

You should take at least 7 hours of sleep every night. Not getting enough sleep can cause stress levels to rise, causing you, in return, to feel unhappy.

So, if you are having trouble sleeping, there are many ways to improve the situation. Try some of the tips mentioned above and see if that helps!

Everything we know about the iPad Air 5

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

If among all current iPhones in 2022 the title "people's" has the iPhone 11, then among the iPads it is certainly the iPad Air 4. The tablet came out very good: frameless display, Touch ID in the power button, excellent performance and battery life. On the one hand, everyone expects new unique features from the next generation, on the other hand, it is very unlikely that Apple will change the trajectory of the Air lineup. Despite the fact that there is still a lot of time until the release of the iPad Air 2022, we already have some information about it. Today I suggest to discuss what we lack in the iPad Air and talk about the features of the future tablet.

I am sure we will remember the iPad Air 2020 for a long time. After all, it was the first frameless tablet with Touch ID in the power button. Later, the Cupertinians released the new iPad mini 6, which made the situation much more complicated. Now the iPad Air must very carefully fit between the iPad mini 6 and iPad Pro, which is very difficult.

The new iPad Air 2022

It is not yet possible to talk about the exact characteristics of the new iPad Air 5 with high precision, but we already have some information on this subject:

·        A15 or A16 processor.

·        Liquid Retina IPS display.

·        Camera: 12 MP widescreen with an aperture of f/1.8 and 10 MP super-wide, aperture Æ’/2.4.

·        12 MP front camera.

·        Support for 1080p video recording at 25 and 30 fps (now only 60 fps).

·        Support for "Spotlight" function for video calls.

·        Quad-LED True Tone main camera flash.

·        Support for 5G connectivity.

·        New colors.

With the iPad mini 6 having the top-end A15 found in the current iPhone 13, it's likely that the iPad Air 5 will also get the top-end Apple A16 along with the iPhone 14. On the other hand, in the past iPad Air is A14, and there were no clear predictions from analysts in this regard, so it is possible that the processor will be the same as the mini 6.

And, of course, we can not ignore the chips, for which the majority of users acquire a tablet - video calling. We would love to see the new Air with the spotlight feature, which would come in handy during video calls. Plus, we are waiting for an improved camera and flash.

iPad Air 2022 Display

The iPad Air 4 has a Retina Liquid Retina display made with IPS technology. Recently, all devices are slowly moving to OLED, so it would be logical to assume that the new Air will come with it.

In the spring of 2021, everyone's well-known analyst Min-Chi Kuo said that the future Air should switch to an OLED display, just like the new iPhone. Well, with smartphones he guessed, but about the tablet in October he changed his predictions closer to the end of October. According to his speculation, Apple has abandoned the idea of introducing OLED in the iPad Air 5, in favor of a simpler IPS.

What's new in the iPad Air 5

BestTablet.info reports that the iPad Air will look more like the iPad Pro 2020 than the iPad mini. And the first thing that interests us here after the display are cameras and speakers. Let me remind you, there are two cameras: a 10 MP widescreen and a 12 MP ultra widescreen. Plus, the iPad Pro has a LiDAR sensor, with which you can work with augmented reality. The source says that we should not expect it to appear in the Air.

Plus, of course, the speakers. The iPad Air 4 has two, and I personally think that is not enough. Yes, the sound of the Air is very good. Watching movies on it is a pleasure, but when you take the Proshka in your hands - you feel impaired. The speakers in the iPad Pro can easily compete even with my MacBook.

They also promised to add studio-quality microphones, which would make life a lot easier for those who work remotely. I can't say I'm happy with the mics on the Air. Even though I work with headphones most of the time, sometimes the microphone sensitivity is not enough.

When is the new iPad Air coming out?

There is no exact data on the release of the iPad Air 2022 yet. Previously, it was said that the tablet should not be released until October 2021, exactly one year after the release of the iPad Air 4. As you have already guessed, the prediction did not come true. It is possible that Apple will show us the iPad Air 5 at the spring presentation, which is expected to be held in March or April.

Bottom line: if you were planning to buy the iPad Air 4 in the near future and are worried that your tablet will turn into a pumpkin in September, I can assure you: this will not happen. The iPad Air 2020 is still a very decent tablet that can handle all the challenges it's designed to handle.

Are there iPad Air 4 owners among our readers? Are you happy with the tablet? Are you looking forward to the 5th generation?
