With the booming market of technology, not only websites and trade have evolved, but the most important and inevitable part of Raksha Bandhan i.e. Rakhi have also grown much.

They are so gleaming and attractive that it is hard to take the eyes off from them. Many people also prefer to buy online Rakhi so that they can have a clearer comparison between trendy designs.

With the passing years, the Rakhi designs have evolved much and also the trend has changed significantly from the past years. Today’s scenario is that the traditional Rakhi has made a comeback.

With the revised designs and attractive work, these Rakhis are on the trending list. With this, Rakhis have changed much. Some noticeable changes are listed below. So, without wasting time, explore them and pick your favourite Rakhi.

The fusion of spirituality and modernity

The Rakhis that are available in the market and are in trend nowadays is the fusion of traditional craftwork and modern technology. This blend is just perfect to maintain the zeal of the festival.

The perfect example of this type of Rakhi is the stone-studded Rakhi that has the divinity of Lord Shiva and the design of gleaming stones.

Traditional and cultural influence

With changing designs, one thing that is also noticeable is that the local state people prefer those Rakhis that are solely dedicated to their area. Like in Rajasthan, the people are going with the traditional Meenakari work Rakhi. The residents of West Bengal prefer the Zari work Rakhis over other designs.

Different Rakhi for different age groups

One other change that you can see in the Rakhi designs is that now there are Rakhis available for every age group. From cartoon Rakhis for kids to the Golden Rakhis for the middle-aged brothers and spiritual Rakhis for the elders; you have many options to make choices from.

Lumba Rakhis are back in the form

On the night of July 31, we attended the launch of the newest hotel in the North operated by Radisson hotels and to soon add to the many luxury accommodations available in the Philippines.

The night was led by Nils Rorhbarth, General Manager of the hotel, giving the welcome remarks, with an opening remarks by Peggy Angeles, EVP of SM Hotels and Convention Center. Also in attendance were Elizabeth Sy, President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, and Hon. Joy Belmonte, Mayor of Quezon City, who came in later after the launching ceremonies so she was initially represented by her local tourism officer.

Awesome entertainment numbers were provided by Michael Barry Que & DanceRs and Talahib People's Music, The Nightingales, and Gian Magdangal.

Hopefully, we would be able to visit the hotel again when it is finally operational be so we could show you the rooms and amenities.

If the buffet spread is an indication of the dushes available at their restaurants, then we are positive about the sumptuous food soon to be served at the hotel.

Congratulations!
