Michelin Tires Chosen for Porsche Cayman GT4 Launch

For the dynamic launch of its new Cayman GT4, Porsche AG has chosen to equip all of the cars with MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance tires: 245/35 ZR20 (91Y) TL N0 front and 295/30 ZR20 (101Y) XL TL N0 rear.

The MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyre is the latest generation of road-legal track tires designed for ultra-high performance cars. The performance levels that this tyre offers are clearly demonstrated by the fact that it is the OE fitment on recent Porsche models including the 918 Spyder and GT3.

Further evidence of the performance of this tyre is highlighted by the Nurburgring lap record set last year by the 918 Spyder which was fitted with exactly the same model of tires, albeit in a different size, that can be bought from any Official Porsche Centre.

Compared to its predecessor, the Pilot Sport Cup+, the Pilot Sport Cup 2 lasts up to 50 per cent longer on track and also offers faster lap times* due to technology developed in motorsport, at races such as the Le Mans 24 hours. Plus, these improvements in performance are achieved with no compromises in other areas, and are an example of Michelin’s Total Performance strategy.

With over 1,300 local and international franchises, franchising remains a preferred route for many Filipinos to start their own business.

The 2nd ENTREPRENEUR AND FRANCHISE EXPO, with the tagline, Your Step 2 Success!, now on its second year is set to be held on June 05-07, 2015 at the Megatrade Hall 1, 5th Floor, Mega B Building, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines to strengthen the growth of franchise businesses and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

In 2014 the show featured 88 businesses and attracted over 11,000 visitors covering over 1,348 square meters of exhibit space. In 2015 the show will feature 108 top franchise businesses and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from various business sectors and expects over 15,000 attendees. Visitors will be able to explore franchise opportunities from various business sectors, such as food, retail, eduction, travel, health and beauty. The show is also featuring industry suppliers and SMEs from the agriculture, manufacturing, technology, automobile, logistic and financing sector and will hold several activities to encourage business professionals, company owners and decision makers to meet face to face.

Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity and Sorority Presents Scholarship Week 2015

It's going to be a week long busy schedule for the organizers of Scholarship Week 2015 starting March 16 until 21.

For eight decades now, the Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity and Sorority of the UP College of Medicine, the first Medical Fraternity and Sorority in Asia, have upheld the pillars of Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. Dynamic and socially responsive, the Fraternity and Sorority were hailed as national finalists in the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
 
This March 16-21, 2015, they will be launching a series of activities under their annual MU SIGMA PHI SCHOLARSHIP WEEK. This week aims to highlight the organization’s continued commitment to the promotion of exemplary scholastic performance, generosity in sharing knowledge and resources, as well as showcasing academic skills and talents of future doctors all over Luzon and the Philippines.
