12th Annual Filipino Franchise Show at the World Trade Center on October 4 to 6

The 12th Annual Filipino Franchise Show will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on October 4-6, 2013.

This is the country’s biggest and only exhibition of homegrown franchises. The event is scheduled for October 4-6, 2013 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The theme this year will be “Galing ng Pinoy,” which pays tribute to Filipino innovation and ingenuity that underscores the competitive potential of the local franchising industry in the global market.

Produced by the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI), the event anticipates more than 30,000 visitors and has secured already more than 300 exhibitors to take part in the featured products and services from various regions of the country. Participants can look forward to unique franchising investment opportunities in food, retail and services - as well as intriguing demonstrations, seminars, and training sessions.

The 6th MegaBrands Sale opens on Friday to Sunday, October 4-6, 2013, from 10AM to 9PM, at the Megatrade Hall 1, 2 & 3, at the 5th level of Mega B, SM Megamall.

Following its five successful annual staging of this event, MCT Events Management offers the 6th edition of the MEGABRANDS Sale. The three-day event showcases more than 200 known brands, both local and international, under one roof.

Shoppers from all walks of life will surely enjoy huge discounts on great selections from shoes, bags, men’s and ladies fashion, sporting goods and accessories, personal care, eye wear, time pieces, and other specialty items. Dance has many genres, like jazz, ballet, disco, ballroom hip-hop and so on. According to Wikipedia, the dance is a type of art that generally involves movement of the body, often rhythmic and to music. It is performed in many cultures as a form of emotional expression, social interaction, or exercise, in a spiritual or performance setting, and is sometimes used to express ideas or tell a story.

Malaya Ka Na Interpretative Dance contest was supposedly held last August 20, 2103. But because of the heavy rain, it was postponed and moved on September 17, 2013. The weather was a blessing in disguised for us because if the contest was pushed through last August, I think we will not be able to perform the dance well.

After a month of practicing, the competition day has come. The competition is 1:00 in the afternoon. We attended our first subject period first, practice twice the routine, eat our lunch and fix ourselves with the help of our teachers. Before leaving the school, we and some problems in terms of the transportation, the school service was not available so the MAPEH head department decided to just call tricycles just for us to be at the contest venue, Tanghalang Pasigueno, on time.
