Toycon 2013 and Hero Face Off 2013 : Worlds Will Collide

I'm reposting this article from the Toycon website so I can promote and share to you an exciting event happening starting June 14 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong.

This will be a spectacular treat for toy fans, and the like, of all ages as we witness a magnificent gathering of toys and collectibles along with other events like cosplays, comics and other merchandise.

It’s a clash of two gigantic events in the metro! A crossover event you’ll never dare miss. Collectibles Unlimited and HERO TV present TOYCON 2013 Year 12 and HERO FACE OFF 2013: The Ultimate Cosplay Battle!

Join Muni's #CutTheCrap gig on June 15!!

The gig will round up our #CutTheCrap #NoMoreButts campaign to raise awareness on the impact of cigarette butts on the environment.

We'll be distributing film canisters to serve as cigarette butt bins at our #CutTheCrap gig on June 15 at Route 196 featuring Pedicab, Ciudad, Your Imaginary Friends, No Rome, Slow Hello and RomCom, with a DJ set by Only Revolutions!! :D

AUDITIONS ! AUDITIONS ! AUDITIONS !

Maxie the Musical - Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros shall have special auditions for the roles of VICTOR and KUYA BOGS on June 22, 2013 (Saturday) at 4 p.m.

UP Diliman --- Palma Hall Room 132. Those interested to audition are requested to sing two songs (1 Filipino song preferably from a local alternative band/artist and 1 English song from a Broadway musical). They should also be ready to perform a dance/movement piece (may be hiphop, contemporary or jazz)

VICTOR (Police officer, object of Maxie’s puppy love, affection.)
Must look like in his mid to late 20s.
Should be willing to appear on stage in underwear.
Strong baritone or tenor voice. Must be able to sing both ballad and rock songs.

BOGS (Maxie’s brother.)
Early 20s, preferably able to play the guitar.
If auditioning for this role, please prepare a slow OPM song
and showcase guitar ability.
