Don Mariano Bus Falls Off the Skyway and Kills More Than 20 Passengers

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Praying for the families of those who died in the accident.

Don Mariano buses and its drivers are known as killer buses. Mabilis talaga sila magpatakbo. Dapat may drug test every month or quarterly ang lahat ng bus, truck at jeepney drivers.

Dead bodies from the Do Mariano Transit bus were covered with newspapers

We can only see a small part of the whole picture now. This bus liner has been involved in many other accidents in the past. All they get is suspension of franchise. The root cause of the problem is how unfair these drivers are being treated by their employers and the government. They should get a regular monthly pay instead of the commission-based scheme. Bus lines in the metro are so many it's impossible to make a profit.

Public transportation should be operated by the Government and regulated. The salaries of the drivers should be fixed. Their working hours should be fixed also.

Thanks to the LTFRB for issuing franchises more than our roads can handle and way too many to serve the too small size of passengers on the streets. The government should start canceling franchises or soon another accident like this will figure in news items again.

Punishment should not be limited to the bus company. The government implementing agencies should also be held accountable.

Heads should roll at LTFRB for not properly regulating buses, and at MMDA for not implementing traffic rules and thereby encouraging PUV drivers all over Metro Manila to drive recklessly.

They should have better regulation for people/drivers in public transportation.

There is now a proposed law that seeks to update speed limits on major roads. "The bill seeks to update the present rules and regulations on road safety and traffic management by including freeways or the controlled access highways in the classifications of roads and set a uniform speed."

  1. It was a tragedy among the family of the passengers so the government must be aware of the bus companies and give them a suspension. I think the government must do an action to the rules in transportation and be strict enough to the drivers for the safety of the passengers. I hope that our governent will be awake in this kind of tragedy

  3. It has fully emerged to crown Singapore's southern shores and undoubtedly placed her on the global map of residential landmarks. I still scored the more points than I ever have in a season for GS. I think you would be hard pressed to find somebody with the same consistency I have had over the years so I am happy with that.
