Project Babysitting: My Summer 2013

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Summer is the only thing I’m looking forward to. It’s the time where I can be nocturnal, the time where homework don’t exist and the perfect time to give ourselves the vacation we all want. I stayed my first week in our house, with a very productive cycle, sleep-eat-sleep-computer-sleep.

Trust me, it’s not really fun. But after a few days, my uncle asked me if I can stay with them in a few days because my female cousin didn’t have any companions. And furthermore, my uncle was always out because he is some sort of mechanic. My stay in their house was great, they have a lot of food and we can stay up all night while watching a bunch of movies.

My mom decided that she wants me to go home already (I don’t know why). But after a week , my aunt on my father’s side decided to have a reunion with my cousin’s (which was really awesome). So I agreed, then we went to their house at Imus, Cavite. It was really good to see them, and most of all, I missed them so much, we haven’t seen each other for years. This was one of the most unforgettable memories we have captured.

I was forced to go home after a week because something came up and I was needed at home. When I got home, I was shocked because my mom’s sister was there with her son (who is so adorable). My mom explained everything to me, that we were supposed to be babysitters, because her mom was working at a bank, so were like the temporary nanny of Lee. At first I was so happy because the baby is so cute who is just 6 months old. Since the baby was just a toddler I have to be extra careful with everything.

There’s this time where all of us were in a room (the room is air-conditioned) , suddenly a wild odor comes to my senses, then I tried to ask my sister if she farted, of course she denied it. Then after searching for the wild odor, it was him who committed the crime of pooping inside the room. My mom was brave, she was the one who cleaned Lee’s dung.

I was really honored to be a part of his history, his past. I’m really proud that I was the one who took care of him when he was still a baby. Being in a part of any person’s life is really making me glad. But right now they are already living in their own house , and he is now 8 months old.

And now I’m proud to say that I have accomplished a great summer, not because I’ve been in a great beach, but I’m honored to say that I was once a part of another person’s story.
