FDCP Champions ‘Edutainment’ with Over 100 Curated Titles Streaming on FDCP Channel

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

To provide significant films that inspire, enrich and entertain in one platform, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is dropping a total of 104 films on the FDCP Channel platform starting September 30.

“FDCP Channel 100” aims to serve as an easy-to-use streaming platform through a thematic curation of films and audiovisual content according to various educational topics. For a monthly subscription of only PHP 99, students, film enthusiasts, and filmmakers will be able to access hard-to-find local films on the FDCP Channel.

“Streaming platforms everywhere are continuously emerging, overwhelming us with various content. However, there is a gap in streaming platforms for academic use and by categorizing the films by themes such as cultural, heritage and sociodrama, it’ll be more efficient for our audiences to pick out local films for educational and entertainment purposes,” said FDCP Chairperson and CEO Liza Diño.

There are 104 titles available for subscription, 77 new titles added to the 27 existing titles on the FDCP Channel.

For more information and inquiries, visit www.facebook.com/fdcpchannel. To view its subscription plans, visit fdcpchannel.ph.

Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto running for reelection, has Dodot Jaworski as running mate

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

Incumbent Pasig city Mayor Vico Sotto has filed his certificate of candidacy for reelection.

Former Rep. Dodot Jaworski Jr. is his running mate/ Vice Mayor

His father comedian/host Vic Sotto and mother Coney Reyes were there to support him.

Vico knows he has a lot to accomplish in Pasig. He's very conscious of the fact that most of his term was eaten up by the pandemic and it would be a disservice to his constituents not to continue for another term.

Sotto says he needs more time in office to carry out the changes he wants in Pasig.

In his second term, he says he wants to make sure residents will actually feel the changes especially in social services.

It's such a small but important thing to note that his projects are devoid of Vico Sotto branding and are instead identified as Pasig Government projects. They stand on their own, the branding is in the quality of work and in consistently showing up.

Unlike the previous Eusebio mayors who keep putting their "E" and "e" logos on almost every project inspite of our taxes actually funding them.

Meanwhile, former Pasig congressman Robert ‘Dodot’ Jaworski Jr., running as Sotto"s running mate/ Vice Mayor says he decided to end his political hiatus because Sotto asked for his support.

Mayor Vico Sotto interview:

Filing of Certificate of Candidacy:

"Nag-file na po ako kaagad ng COC para tapos na, di naman kailangan ng drama at suspense.

Basta, panahon man ng pulitika o hindi, uunahin natin ang trabaho."

On including another Romulo in his city council line up:

“We want to be idealistic but we need people who we can trust.”

Pasig Expressway (PAREX):

The project is yet to be discussed. “Dapat magkaroon tayo ng konsultasyon sa mga stakeholder bago matuloy yung proyekto.”

Thank you for the service, mayor! Thank you for being the embodiment of an honest and just politician. I doubted you before being a Sotto, but you delivered. I guess you were more likely raised property by your mother is the main reason.

Thank you for your honesty and integrity, Mayor Vico! I hope you'll continue the good work you've started. Praying that every Mayor will be as smart working and honest like you.

I will continue to support your endeavours!

Presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao has Lito Atienza as his running mate

Wazzup Pilipinas!?

This is what happens when your brain gets a lot of punches.

Any thinking person in the Philippines will see him as a threat to the progress of the country, but those who only see Pacquiao as a celebrity popularized by his boxing feats, will shallowly choose him.

Papakinggan kaya ng Diyos ang dasal ng mga Pacquaio's knowing Manny has questionable interpretations of the Bible?

Many are saying Pacquiao is not knowledgeable and equipped enough with the appropriate experience, being a previous enabler of the Duterte administration, plus he spent most of his time busy with his boxing career, TV hosting and other showbiz-related appearances, product endorsements, setting up businesses, highly controversial academic accomplishments, slurs against the LGBTs, etc.

The problem in our country is that incompetent people are full of confidence while the competent ones are doubting themselves...or do not have the financing and popularity.

If ever he wins, Pacquiao might be the first most absentee President just as he is as a senator. However, he did announced he has hanged up his gloves, though he was also quoted as will readily get out of retirement if he  feels the urge to fight again. Knowing his track record, he'll find something else to keep himself busy aside from his obligation in government.

Buhay party list representative and House Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza says Manny Pacquiao and him are running under the PROMDI Party, a political party formed by Atienza which is in alliance with PDP-Laban

Manny Pacquiao choosing Lito Atienza as running mate for top Philippine posts is a nod to his conservative stance.

Pacquiao and Atienza have both opposed same-sex marriage and reproductive health law. But both differ on death penalty-- Pacquiao for it, Atienza against.

Atienza, before becoming a party-list lawmaker, also served as Manila mayor.

Isko Moreno, the current capital mayor, is running against Pacquiao for the presidency.

For a sound and logical vote, maybe we should only allow people with at least a high school education should be allowed to vote in the Phillippines.

Manny Pacquiao chooses Lito Atienza as his VP running mate. For President, we have someone who said LGBTs are worse than animals. For Vice President, we have someone staunchly against same-sex marriage and anti-discrimination.

But sorry, many still never forgets. Not suitable for senator na nga, paano pa kaya ang pagiging pangulo.
