Late Nights with COVID-19 Duterte (April 6, 2020)

Wazzup Pilipinas!

- REPORT of the Office of the President to Congress | Bayanihan Act

- POSSIBLE REALIGNMENT of the 2020 Budget

- INCLINATION TO EXTEND THE LOCKDOWN to April 30

1. Resources under the Bayanihan Act have been mobilized. Our most vulnerable citizens, must receive government assistance immediately.

2. Alam ko we shouldn’t just zero in sa poorest of the poor. Valid ang suggestion ni Cavite Governor Remulla. Pag may mapulot tayo. Ok tayo. The economy is on a standstill. What we are spending now is reserves natin.

3. Yung poorest of the poor, eto yung walang kita sa isang araw, di na makakain. Or wala talagang trabaho. What is really sad is that the rainy day has arrived in our generation. Di natin ito gusto.

4. Di ako makatulog. Nag iisip ako buong gabi. Abutan na ako daybreak.

5. The 100 Billion for one month or the 270 Billion for two months is not enough. I am calling the Secretary of Finance mag generate na ng pera.

6. We are exploring options to adjust the earlier budget (the 2020 General Appropriations Act), realign or cancel ibang projects kasi hindi pwede magutom ang tao.

Lahat gastos. Ang gobyerno cannot print so much money.

8. Kung makinig kayo, you’d be able to understand my paradigm.

9. I ask the utmost cooperation of the public, especially our brothers and sisters who are hit most by the pandemic.

10. Devil and the deep blue sea ako. Kung ipagbawal ko, di makalabas. Di makakain yan. Pero kakalat ang COVID. Kaya do not go out, lock yourselves in your house.

Wala kang magawa nito? Ang COVID is science. Period. The reason why we are ordering you to stay inside the house is science. Period.

I am laying out the predicate.

13. Pati ang Gobyerno, desperado na. Kanina nagising ako mga 3am. My God is the true God. Ang Diyos ko is God the father.

14. I would like to be honest, ang 270 Billion pesos na estimate ay hindi talaga tatagal yan.

I turned 75 last month.

16. Stop it. Mga trying to be smart aleck. You do not know your law.

17. Let us take this problem ONE AT A TIME. We are trying to perfect this.

He declared himself as President. Tama siya. He can solve the problem in 3 weeks in the entire planet Earth.

19. I agree sa letter ni Governor Remulla. I know the political horizon of the country. Kung maari lang isali ko sila. But can they be included in the 270 Billion? Hindi pa sa ngayon.

20. The solution to our problem, is a vaccine. The experts in infectious diseases are better to solve this. Hindi kaming mga abogado. Our resources are finite, not infinite. There’s not enough money.

23. I am forced to say this, what is at stake. Parang kadena de amor ito.

25. This being the Holy Week, I call on everyone to unite and pray.

26. Baka mali ako, baka yung init has something to do with. Yung tropical climate makatulong.

27. We are inclined to extend the lockdown up to April 30. Tingnan natin. Pero for the meantime, mag double time kami para mabigyan din ng tulong ang middle class.

28. Pag bumagsak ang Gobyerno, bagsak tayo lahat.

29. Next time I talk to you, sana mag improve na ang situation.

KAYA NATIN ANG COVID-19! MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!

Something is Fishy

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Wuhan to Shanghai = 839 kms.

Wuhan to Beijing = 1,152 kms.

Wuhan to Milan = 15,000 kms.

Wuhan to NY = 15,000 kms.

The Corona virus started in Wuhan yet there is no effect of Corona virus in nearby Beijing or Shanghai but many deaths in Italy, Iran, European countries and USA.

All business areas of China are now safe.

Something is fishy.

America is not just blaming China without a reason.

Even today, India is locked down but all the cities of China are open. China has also announced the opening of Wuhan from April 08. Not a single leader in China has tested positive for the deadly Corona virus.

Something is fishy.

The virus has ruined many economies around the world. Many have had to close their borders in an attempt to contain and control the spread of the Corona virus. Thousands have lost their lives, millions have now got this disease, countless people have been locked in their homes and many countries have placed their citizens on lock down.

Something is fishy.

The Corona virus originated from the city of Wuhan in China and has now reached every corner of the world, but the virus did not reach China's capital Beijing and China's Economic Capital Shanghai, located in close proximity to Wuhan itself.

Something is fishy

Today Paris is closed, New York is closed, Berlin is closed, Delhi is closed, Mumbai is closed, Tokyo is closed, the world's major economic and political centers are closed, but Beijing and Shanghai are open. No Corona virus effect is seen in either cities. There were only a few cases but the virus had no real effect on Beijing and Shanghai.

Something is fishy.

Beijing is the city where all the leaders of China live, including their military leaders. There is no lock down in Beijing.

Something is fishy

Shanghai is the city that runs China's economy. It is the economic capital of China, where all the rich people of China live and run major industries. There is no lock down here, there is no effect of the Corona virus there.

Something is fishy

Beijing and Shanghai are the areas adjoining Wuhan. The virus from Wuhan reached every corner of the world, but the virus did not affect Beijing and Shanghai.

Something is fishy

Another big thing is, that the worldwide share market has fallen by almost half. In India also the Nifty has gone from 12 thousand to 7 thousand, but the share market of China was at 3000 and just merely dropped to 2700.

Something is fishy

This leaves one to speculate that the Corona virus is a bio-chemical weapon of China, which China used to carry out destruction in the world in order to gain economic supremacy.

China has now put this virus under control, maybe they also have the antidote/ vaccine that they are not sharing with the world ever or will do when it is in their best interest to do so.

Something is fishy

Hollywood stars, Australia's Home Minister, Britain's Prime Minister and Health Minister, Spain's Prime Minister's wife, Canada's Prime Minister's wife, and Britain's Prince Charles, among others, have contracted the Corona virus, but NOT A SINGLE POLITICAL LEADER IN CHINA, NOT A SINGLE MILITARY COMMANDER in China have tested positive for Corona virus.

SOMETHING IS FISHY!!!!

Middle Class Woes: Last Priority During Relief Distribution

Wazzup Pilipinas

Dear National and Local Leaders,

You exempt subdivision dwellers from food or financial assistance. You assume that they are better off, all of them---as if all subdivisions are created equal, as if all homeowners have the same resources.

It is often said, that if you need to win an election, you need to convince the middle class, that sector of society who are adequately informed, have a certain degree of formal or informal education, a class of people who earns their right to enjoy what they have due to diligence and hardwork. Majority of subd dwellers are middle class citizens armed with the tools to make better choices come next elections.

Most subdivision dwellers are madiskarte. These are children of well-meaning and hardworking Filipino parents, who, because they want to support their families, as soon as they had the opportunity, secured a housing loan or even a car loan to provide comfort to their families. After all bills are paid, if it is enough, they send remittances through Palawan or other money tranfer institutions to support their parents or siblings.
They look more decent than the tambays in the slums because they try hard to make a better life, so aside from working as professionals during weekdays, when their helpers are on day off, they continue their grind at night or weekends selling siomai, household products, food for delivery, and many other products.
Whether they are employed or self employed they pay their monthly, quarterly, and yearly taxes, in addition to real estate taxes and all other taxes of their purchases.

Let us say, a subd. dweller is employed and gets taxed for at least 600 monthly, or let us say he is a self employed seller, he pays around 4000 yearly for his business renewal, has to pay community tax in the barangay, how is it difficult to not remember them in your five kilos of rice, 3 packs of noodles, 6 cans of sardines? Is that how the state now regards the majority of people who comprise the backbone of our economy?

We do not loathe that you always help the needy, the marginalized, but to tell you honestly, majority of those who remain that way is because, COVID or not, they have too much idle time on their hands. Instead of sweating it out making ends meet for their children, it is a common sight to see them engage in unproductive activities. While they do not contribute much for their own well being, anak pa ng anak, they also do not contribute to the republic, the society in general. Contrast that to a "trying hard" subdivision dweller, OCWs who do side "rackets," teachers, engineers, or nurses, who have to sell real estate and anything and everything under the sun to make their families' and Philippines' economy afloat.

When subdivision dwellers need money, the government offers them a loan, but when ousiders need help, they get 4Ps, financial assistance, libreng pagamot, libreng tuli, libreng vaccine, libreng condom, libreng bunot, libreng xray, but when your diligent subdivision dwellers na mukhang di naghihirap needs help, you offer them a loan, with interest, with penalties if not paid on time.

The proverbial kalabaw is the subdivision dwellers of our modern society. Kalabaw 1.0 version 2020.

So please, the next time you make a pronouncement that 200 Billion is set to be distributed by kapitans, DOLE, DSWD, and DILG, remember the kalabaws of modern society. Remember, this decent looking kalabaws can and will make or break your aspirations.for reelection.
