Wazzup Pilipinas!
At the same day when the country is celebrating Mother's Day, many other events took the opportunity to get the attention of the potentially huge crowd that will frequent the malls to celebrate the special occasion. Of course, the celebration usually has he entire family members in tow which includes the fathers and big brothers who are the primary targets of men's good grooming products from many different brands.
With its longstanding commitment to promote good grooming among Filipino men, Schick also launched its ‘Smoothism Temple's Shave to Save: A Sharing Event for a Cause’ last May 10, 2015 at the Trinoma Activity Center.
Shaving is actually not limited to men since women also shave other parts of their bodies. The launch of the new shaver product for sensitive skin allows for a safer and more comfortable shaving experience even for women.
Present during the event was Rico Robles, a disc jockey for Monster Radio TX 93.1, who hosted the Smoothism Temple's Shave to Save event, plus other facilitators who personally went out to the crowd, availing of the freebies like shavers and haircut services, and interviewed them.
During the event, the brand icon's Smooth Lee made a stunt to fight Lumpy Bumps and Knick the Knife, who both represented the effects of a badly shaved skin. This is part of Schick's Smoothism campaign, way of life that highlights the importance of de-stressing, looking good, feeling good, and doing good.
