Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content and threat management solutions knows that in the age of Internet surveillance, private and secure messaging is a necessity.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) recently published a thorough analysis measuring the security and privacy of a long list of mobile and Internet messaging services.

Some providers passed with flying colors, others struggled to make the grade and a number just plain failed.

Interestingly, the list of apps and services that are sleeping on security will, unfortunately, seem all too familiar.

For that reason, this list will focus primarily on the most popular messengers but will also note the poor-scoring, less popular ones as well.

Second, make sure your promotion is properly publicized. Use all your channels, from social media to in-store signage, to make sure people are aware of your promotion and how to take advantage of it.

Comedy Cartel, the pioneers of observational point-of-view stand-up comedy in the Philippines, finally brings you the culminating event of a one of a kind year-long competition that will discover the best of the best from the local comedians.

Your friendly neighborhood pambansang blogger is proud to have been invited as one of the esteemed guests to witness a night of fun and definitely lots of laughter. I will also be inviting some of my friends to join me as this is an event intended to be shared with everyone. Laughter is so very much contagious and we intend to cause an epidemic of epic proportions.

After having 15 legs, held at four venues, and 36 participants, the Comedy Cartel's Laugh & Stack Open Mic Showdown will now have its Grand Finals on November 22, 2014 at the Relik Tapas Bar & Lounge at Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

The top ten winners namely Winer Aguilar, Miguel Alejandrino, Chris Bacula, Chip Balbuena, Bill Beatty, Rene Cruz, Jr., Sherwin Cunanan, Ros Fajardo, Jethro Trogo, and Hugh Vincent will battle it out for the grand title of Laugh & Stack Open Mic Showdown Champion.
