Aquabest is Proud Hydration Partner of Quezon City International Marathon Night Run

Fun runs are everywhere. Almost every month I hear about news of fun run events being organized and sponsored by many companies. Of course, in every dehydrating activity such as a run, we need to rehydrate to bring back the water our bodies sweat out.

Aquabest is proud to announce its support for the 4th Quezon City International Marathon (QCIM).

The company would be setting up hydration stations along Quezon Avenue where it will offer free water to the marathon participants. It would also be giving away awesome prizes and joining the on stage program at the Quezon Memorial Circle. The QCIM is being held to honor and celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of Quezon City.

The event is expected to gather 9,000 professional and amateur runners at the Quezon Memorial Circle on November 29. This year also marks the first time the global marathon event will be held at night. The run shall cover only four categories; 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K. The race will be held at the Quezon Memorial Circle, and from there, it will proceed to Quezon Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue before going back to the Quezon Memorial Circle.

DLSU BMS Presents 7th Business Management Students' Convention

The Business Management Society (BMS), a professional student organization from De La Salle University - Manila will have their annual Business Management Students' Convention (BMSC) on November 28, 2014 at the 4th – 5th floors of Henry Sy Bldg., De La Salle University - Manila. For the past years, BMSC has successfully highlighted relevant themes that focus in enriching the future business leaders of our nation. They aim to reach-out and give the students a new opportunity to widen their perspective of the current issues surfacing the field of business.

Now on its 7th year, BMSC's main theme is Corporate Sustainability – a business response to sustainable development represented by strategies and practices that address the key issues in the economic, social and environmental dimensions which also stand for the sub-themes: Progress, Engage, and Nurture.

‘Progress,’ it deals with how companies would support and lead the equal distribution of resources and economic growth in the country. Another, ‘Engage’ tackles with how companies impact society when it comes to values, ethics, and attitude towards achieving the same goals. And, ‘Nurture’ basically focuses on how companies take-part on decreasing the carbon footprint and support environmental practices that would help lessen the negative impact to the environment. Furthermore, speakers from premier companies in the country will be giving a talk on Corporate Sustainability and its subsidiary topics.

Epson Wins Gold and Silver in Marketing Excellence Awards 2014

Epson, the world’s first, and to date, only major printer maker to offer ink tank system printers, has walked away with two wins in the prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards, organized by Marketing Magazine in Singapore. Last night, Epson received the Gold Award for Excellence in Marketing Communications and the Silver Award for Excellence in Integrated Marketing (B2B). The awards were bestowed in recognition of the technology giant’s innovative “ThINK Outside the Printer” campaign.

The Excellence in Marketing Communications category recognizes the best marketing campaign, initiative or programme that conveys compelling messages to its target audience while driving core business objectives. The Excellence in Integrated Marketing (B2B) category, on the other hand, recognizes the best organization that effectively engages its B2B partners through an integrated marketing strategy by employing a suite of marketing tools and media channels while driving core business objectives.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our efforts from such a prestigious organization,” says Managing Director for Epson Southeast Asia, Endo Koichi. “Epson is redefining and challenging the printer category with the introduction of the original ink tank printers. The research data shows that ink tank printers are gaining market traction and disruption has started.
