Wazzup Pilipinas Won As One of the Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs for 2013

I just got an email earlier this afternoon (September 17) congratulating Wazzup Pilipinas for being one of the Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs for 2013!!!

I share the recognition with all my blogger friends and site contributors (blog, Facebook page, events correspondents, etc). It will not be possible without all the supporters and believers of the community blog site who have generously contributed their time and skills for Wazzup Pilipinas..

Special thanks to all the PRs, events organizers, companies, establishments and individuals who gave us the opportunity to be part of their events, advocacy and product promotions.

Wazzup Pilipinas or WazzupPilipinas.com is only a few months old yet it is proud of its many accomplishments. The community blog has partnered with several organizations to bring its readers worthwhile articles that share events and other happenings in the country. It has managed to organize several blogger events for its members giving both pro and newbie bloggers the opportunity to interact with fellow bloggers and to be recognized by companies.

"A suspect in the murder of ad executive Kae Davantes is now in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The 19-year-old suspect, Samuel Desimo, admitted that he and 5 others held up ad executive Kae Davantes at knifepoint. He said they killed her after she recognized one of his companions. Kaya pala naka-balandra ang mga van ng ABS-CBN kanina sa NBI office sa Manila. May nahuli na raw na suspect sa pagpatay kay Kristelle "Kae" Davantes.

The suspect admitted his role in Davantes murder to the media, but says 4 others are involved.

Why would he surrender?hmm something's fishy. Doesn't seem to be a convincing confession. Seems like there is more to this story.

Please be warned that there is a FAKE Wazzup Pilipinas Facebook Fan page that was discovered recently. It used my blog header and then named the page as Wazzup Philippines.

It is obvious that the people responsible in creating this FAKE Facebook fan page intends to confuse the followers of our blog....and maybe to lure our fans, followers, and PRs, partners, etc., away from our real Facebook Fan Page....

Wazzup Pilipinas has already accumulated a great deal of Facebook Likes and continuously growing everyday. In just a short time (only a few months) it has accomplished a lot of achievements and has recently become one of the Top Ten Emerging Influential Blogs of 2013.
