The Electronics Engineering (ECE) board exam is considered one of the hardest and most challenging exams one must pass to add the “Engr.” before their name. With this, the Institute of Electronics and Communications Engineers of the Philippines, UP Student Chapter (UP IECEP) is pleased to present the 14th installment of Get Licensed to support aspiring engineers on their path to becoming the future engineers of our community.

Get Licensed 2024, an event prepared for Electronics Engineering (ECE) students and designed with a combination of mock board exams and seminars, is a great opportunity to broaden the participants' knowledge about their upcoming careers. In this year’s installment, universities from all over Luzon are invited to be part of this event.

On May 4, 2024 at the UP School of Statistics Auditorium, participants will be provided with a comprehensive mock board exam, simulating the actual board exam experience. This is a great avenue for aspiring electronics engineers to assess the areas that need improvement and gain a better understanding of the exam format and content.

One of the main offerings of Get Licensed 2024 is a series of seminar talks from industry experts and distinguished individuals. Established names from the Electronics Engineering industry and the research and development fields will share their expertise, experiences, and practical advice on how to succeed in the field. A part of the seminar talk will be discussing the new table of specifications of the current ECE board exam to help participants become familiar with the upcoming board exam. Tips and techniques on using scientific calculators will be talked about through a series of hands-on activities. Successful stories and job opportunities as an ECE graduate will also be highlighted in the seminars.
