Master Chefs 2013 : From Barangay Cooking Idols to Talented Master Chefs

I have a knack for cooking. Somehow, after I'm able to taste a certain dish and if provided with all the ingredients (optional), I would immediately be able to figure out how the dish was cooked. It comes out easy to determine which ingredient comes first and how they are prepared to be ready for cooking.

I am also very fond of trying out new dishes especially if its presentation is attractive and colorful. Many call it gourmet food where cooking becomes an art and a science as well. This is probably why I have a lot of food reviews in my blog. I do not really eat that much but I do love tasting each and every dish served to me.

It fascinates me to see cooking demos especially if its done by chefs who really are very creative in their cooking and presentation. I guess there has been an increase in the number of students who like to pursue a culinary art degree because I've been seeing a lot of chefs in the news lately. They've also become like superstars following the footprints of sports athletes and celebrities being recruited as endorsers of popular brands.

Because of the great magnitude and capital expense of turning this vision into reality, he acknowledged that the transformation is being experienced at varying levels.

The Binibining Pilipinas queens, Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2013 Cindy Miranda, and Binibining PIlipinas 2013 1st Runner-up Pia Wurtzbach will also grace the opening of the Making Memories Photo Exhibit.

I have never seen so much kids in just one room - and together with their parents, bonding together doing fun-filled activities like coloring, playing in the kids pen, falling in line in the many photo booths, watching episodes of Superbook, and a fascinating colorful play on stage - makes me miss my childhood days when we were so carefree and all we think about is playing endlessly.

With the new generation of kids right now, it's very rare to see children playing on the streets. Most of them will now sit and stare in front of either the TV or computer screen - watching cable TV shows or playing their favorite games.

Many are also online playing on a virtual world where you simulate extraordinary experiences playing the roles of maybe an adventurer, a celebrity, or a rockstar!

Max's Inaanak Grand Fun Day was a great initiative to bring the kids out of their homes and enjoy learning activities with their parents.

The mouth-watering Babi Guling or Roasted Suckling Pig could very well be the only photo I will post yet it will surely bring out an appetite in you.

It's one of the many dishes served during Balinese nights buffet at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for only until the 8th so be sure to drop by at Hyatt to indulge in a feast that's authentic Indonesian cuisines.

Of course, add with it several other choices that has made buffet an awesome festive dining experience.

For its annual tree planting and nurturing activity this year, Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc. (EPPI), worked with the National Power Corporation (NPC) and the Malaraya-Malepunyo Watershed Protection Council (MMWPC) and planted about 4,000 seedlings at Mt. Malaraya-Malepunyo (Biak-na-Bundok) in Brgy. Talisay, Lipa City, Batangas last August 3.

EPPI President Kazuyuki Amano led the event, with over 190 volunteers from EPPI.

This year, EPPI was able to cover two hectares of land, planting about 4,000 seedlings of various trees that are indigenous to the Philippines, including Narra, Kupang, Tibig, Toog, and Taluto. Every Epson volunteer was asked to plant a minimum of 20 seedlings. The company expects a survival rate higher than the 88% result from last year’s tree-planting activity.

"If a US intervention happens in Syria. Russia, China and Iran would back up Syria while Turkey will be on US side. Israel and Saudi Arabia might also help since they're pressuring Pres. Obama to attack Assad's regime. According to Iran, they'll attack Israel if Syria was attacked. If things turn sour, the US and its allies might have a war with Russia, China and Iran. And speaking of allies, the Philippines is included among the list. Since we have a mutual defense treaty with the United States and China is pressured on Washington's pivot to Asia, there is a chance that China will also attack us. Japan might get involved too because of their current disputes with China on the Senkaku islands and on the US military bases in Japan. I'm not sure with Russia but I'm pretty sure that they'll help China.
