Male by Birth, Female by Heart, and Other Variations of LGBTQIA+

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Many would still detest, but our society has accepted them.

Prominence in showbiz as stand-up comedians then to co-hosting on TV shows and movies mostly to provide comic reliefs.

The usual visibility at parlors or salons as hairdressers or make-up artists leveling up to fashion designers, directors, and other creative industries.

Then penetrated beauty pageants normally for real women.

Now even government offices.

Maybe more in the near future.

However, this acceptance should still have limits since overbearing demands for equal treatment same to that of real female by births would never totally happen.

Maraming kokontra dito....for sure. But let me get personal. Maybe too personal. But necessary so you would understand where I am coming from.

Pero those tendencies were changed kasi natuto ako na boys should behave like boys....and maraming girls kasi na nagsabing type nila ako...hahaha... everywhete I go, may nagkakagusto raw sa akin. During JS Prom pa nga may lumapit para makipagsayaw. Lol.

Nagpanic lang talaga ako at nagmadaling sumakay pauwi!

Medyo traumatic sa akin yung mga last experiences ko with gay persons but I've moved on na rin naman.

Instead of accepting our weakness and capitalizing on.our strengths, iniiba natin kaya lalong gumugulo buhay.

All Gender restrooms can now be used, but still one at a time, by any gender, whether Male, Female, or LGBTQIA+WXYZ ... and all colors of the rainbow ROYGBIV.

We accept that we live with people with diverse inclinations and personalities, but please do not intrude too much on our comfort zones.

There should always be a limit to everything, and since we have been brought up following the norms and standards, we can't possibly have all coz the supposedly request against anti-discrimination then becomes a demand for special treatment.

We'll give you a place to do your stuff, but also allow us to be ourselves.

If LGBTs were not able to accept themselves when they were born with their genders and features, how could they make everyone else unconditionally accept them?

Please do not drown your real identities regardless of sex change operations. We all know in mind that men will be men, and women will be women in the eyes of the Lord.

50 Shades of Ross Del Rosario this October

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I'm almost half a century old, but I'm getting better and stronger as I approach it. So here's another lengthy post from a fruitful and meaningful life filled with bountiful blessings.

No need to keep my age a secret, because only the weak hides his age. But in my case, when my age was asked, I would jokingly say 25. But that's exactly how I feel. The same age when I got married.. so it also means my wife and I will be celebrating our silver anniversary - 25 years in marriage this November 2019, actually I loved her so much that I married her twice - civil and then church wedding within the same year. Before man and God.

Do you want to know my real fountain of youth? It is of course being married to my better half, the love of my life, the one who has stayed by my side inspite of all the struggles trying to fit in a society that do not understand misfits like me. I was an introvert with deviant ways, weird and strange to many, unpredictable and moody to some.

Yes, I'm more of the misfit who would frequently get off the usual path to try out other roads and discover their secret or hidden features, yet the eccentric also for being so unconventional and slightly bewildering, maybe eclectic is the more appropriate adjective to describe me since I would derive my ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. Too broad that I often get lost in a chaotic pursuance of perfection.

But all I could say is that I would have been a very different person if not for my wife's patience and understanding. I am indeed a rare, if not genuinely one of a kind, breed of dreamers who would often look at the skies to daydream about the possibilities. Gazing at the people around me every now and then wondering if others think like me too. My search for like-minded individuals continue.

I never stopped daydreaming. I guess I never will. But I'm proud to say that I've already left a legacy online to serve as a mark on history being the self-proclaimed Pambansang Blogger but truly living my life as what that branding would literally mean.

Yes, your National Blog of the Philippines would maintain its effort to be world-renowned and globally competitive, if not already, so that the world would remember me by as the man who made a noble effort to influence the mindset of brainwashed and confused people. Regardless of the difficulty with so many pretentious personalities spreading false hopes and promises, I will serve as your hero that will holler the iconic Wazzup Pilipinas shout-out, deafening to only those who seek to destroy our lifelong dreams.

All the rest are mostly noise, and mine aims to be the most inspiring to encourage others to reach out, engage and touch lives. Doing the iconic shout-out is a wake-up call to everyone who may have overslept and lost the will to persist.

Less talk, less mistakes. But our erring ways is what makes us real and human given the free will to control his own fate. We are all destined for greatness, it is just sometimes we forget to pause for a while and reflect on our achievements. We may have been already basking on the definition of success yet our unquenchable thirst for perfection is whats keeping us to want more. Never satisfied, always searching for the best version of ourselves.

Life was not meant for us to keep on hoarding. Our lives were meant to be shared and appreciated by all.

Please always remember that I will never grow tired and weak of doing the iconic Wazzup Pilipinas shout-out with you!

Congratulations to us all.

The Wide-eyed Bee Mascot is Still a "Singkit" Inside

Wazzup Pilipinas!

We've fallen down the deepest bottom without any chance of surviving if we even consider fastfood like fried chicken and burgers to proudly symbolize Pinoy cuisine.

We all know they were copied from Western fastfood chains yet why are we pushing for that certain fastfood symbolized by a bee and their mostly greasy dishes as among our Philippine pride and joy.

Jollibee is from Chinese businessmen turned Filipino Chinese as their businesses continued to prosper and their families multiplied in the country. Admittedly they've grown huge, yet the food they sell could not really be attributed to Philippine soil and culture.

Their junk food is among the number one source of obesity aside from the softdrinks that they offer with their value meals.

They also only started regularizing some of their crew when several years have passed they've profited on contractuals only.

The rest of their bussinesses are mostly gotten from buying out their competitors or to gain new opportunities in the food industry.

I used to work for the said fastfood chain during my college days and back then we used to still serve catsup and mustard in plastic squeeze bottle condiment dispensers we would put back in plastic jars and stored inside the fridge at every end of the day, and all the crew in both kitchen, counter and dining area, except supervisors and managers, were only young college students needed to work to fund their education. Majority of the management were obviously Chinese based on their last names, and the crew were all Filipinos. Got my point?

Now they have small catsup sachets (not even enough to cover an entire beef patty, no more mustard, and still employing college students to serve us. And their management are still mostly Chinese. But they've grown so big there's a branch in almost every busy street corner nationwide and beyond.

Their growth is indeed phenomenal but I would question their being Filipino since their rise to fame and fortune was not due to any Filipino traits but more of their Chinese heritage just as how the mall tycoons Sy, Gokongwei, and the rest of the big names from other industries proliferated in our country.

Well, congratulations to Jollibee for its success among Filipinos, but it should not represent Filipino cuisine. The bee could wear a barong all day but he is still not authentic Filipino since his "parents" were Chinese. Again, the wide-eyed mascot is still a "singkit" inside.

How I wish there would be a true Pinoy brand from true Filipino origins to emerge above these Chinese brands. Could we still be able to uplift businesses truly managed by Filipinos and offering authentic Pinoy food among the top restaurants in the world? We could only do that if we primarily support local Filipino brands. That is the only time we could be totally proud of a globally competitive company.
