Phishing attacks are by far the most popular form of cybercrime in the 21st century. There have been news reports on the lists of organizations whose customers fell victim to phishing attacks.

Phishing scams increase in quality and quantity every day. Whereas spam tends to be merely an annoying distraction, phishing frequently leads to real financial losses.

If the threat is so real, why don’t people learn to avoid it?

There are numerous reasons why phishing works so well, starting with the ability of the scammers to play mind tricks on victims, in order to lure them into trouble.

Phishers can use tempting offers, like complimentary giveaways, in order to bait users. This is a very efficient method, as many people would likely take advantage of a free offer.

A scammer can also use the buzz around a certain topic or event – take, for example, the large-scale scam that occurred after the FIFA World Cup. In the summer of 2014, a phishing site imitating the official FIFA web page, prompted users to sign a petition in defense of Luis Albert Suarez, the star forward on the Uruguay national team. In order to sign the petition, a user had to fill out the online form, which required one’s name, country, mobile phone number, and email.

As a season offering to all young adults, Kids Acts Philippines proudly presents “ ROMEO AND JULIET ” edited with additional lyrics by LUIGI NACARIO and music by EUGENE BELBIS.

This William Shakespeare’s novel will be staged by maintaining the classic requirement of the play from costumes to the set. The music is composed through a fusion of western and eastern with contemporary flavor. “Romeo and Juliet” is simplified without sacrificing the original texts of Shakespeare to let young adults understand and comprehend on how the play is written. In the play, dialogues are sung with full observance of how phrases are being read.

IN THE TOWN OF VERONA, there were two rival families, the Montagues and the Capulets, involved in a family feud that goes back years before any of the members were born. One night, the Capulets held a supper at their house inviting friends and relatives of their own.

Though a Montague, Romeo attended the party to forget his love for Rosaline. During the night he met Juliet and immediately fell in love with her. To his dismay he found out that she was a Capulet. But still, he pursued his feelings towards her, that after the supper he decided to jump inside the Capulet’s yard to express his love for Juliet. In the balcony, they confessed their love for each other and agreed to secretly marry the next day.

Inaugural Herbalife Nutrition Day in Asia Pacific Region on October 25

Herbalife, a global nutrition company, today announced that it will be celebrating its inaugural Herbalife Nutrition Day on October 25 across 15 Asia Pacific markets including Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Thomas Strauss experienced the cruelty of life at a young age. He saw how both of his parents died with pain and agony. Its his choice if he would let his horrible past affect him. He can control it. But he didn’t. Instead he let the pain and the agony that he felt as a child consumed him.

All his life he felt so alone. And the only way to escape this feeling is to take away somebody’s life. By doing this, he believes that he’s doing them a favor, buy ending their sufferings in a painless way.

As individuals, we tend to follow our own feelings and we regret to look at the bigger picture. The people would hate him. The family of his victims neither may or may not forgive him.

The owner, a woman, lives in a house all by herself including her dog which acts as her body guard. The reason as to why the robber chose to rob her house in particular had something to do with the fact that she was a female. Because she was a female and lived alone, the robber thought that it would be easier to break in the house and subdue the victim if ever he was caught.

Although not mentioned in the story, the line ‘Her clothes were forcefully ripped off and barely covered her torso.’ Indicated that the thief may have done something sinister and sexually-immoral to the woman but stopped when the woman was struggling too much so he just decided to kill the woman quickly and take what he came for.

In fact, it has been proven in studies that women are mostly the targets of criminals especially when it involves robbery, breaking-and-entering, and rape. This is because women are physically weaker than men so they are easy to overpower. The robber in the story had been watching the woman’s house for a while to calculate whether it’ll be an easy target or not.
