Airports in the Philippines : The Mystery That Is Digichive

The airports in the Philippines are among the worst in the world. Is that so?

There will always be a few cases of unpleasant bathrooms, lost or misplaced baggage, delayed flights, and the list goes on,  but these are the same problems that other airports in the world are also experiencing.

Well, If compared to the other airports I've been to, ours is not really that impressive.,,,,but I agree to the statement that you get to reach the bathroom quicker in Philippine airports as compared to the huge airports of other countries.

I've been to Bangkok, and I had the longest time reaching their toilets. I swear I almost went pee-pee on my pants....hahaha.

PLDT Waives Tablet Fee For New TelPad Plans

Telecom firm Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) is making an aggressive push for the transformation of its landline service by offering to waive the device fee for its new TelPad plans, a unique offering that combines landline, Internet, and a tablet in one device and service.

Aside from the waived device fee — which used to cost customer a subsidised P5,500 fee for every subscription — the accompanying tablet has also been upgraded to feature a rebranded Huawei MediaPad S7 Lite, a 7-inch tablet that sports a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, a bright WSVGA IPS display, and the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The PLDT TelPad is the Pangilinan-led telco’s attempt at transforming its languishing landline business, which in the recent decade had fallen by the wayside as newer communication options — including mobile phones and broadband Internet — had made landline phones irrelevant to most consumers.

By including a free tablet device with every subscription, Filipino families are given a low-cost ticket to owning their first tablet, which the kids can use for school and entertainment or be a handy work companion for parents. Plans start at P1,849, with speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps.
