Papa John's Launches the New Chicken Carbonara Pizza

Wazzup Pilipinas!
Now on its 3rd year in the Philippines and with 17 branches in NCR to serve you, Papa John's gives you more reasons to enjoy its great-tasting pizza with the launch of the new Chicken Carbonara Pizza!

The new Chicken Carbonara Pizza comes with crispy bacon in creamy carbonara sauce and a blend of Parmesan, Romano, and Mozzarella Cheeese, topped with grilled chicken, onion bacon and mushroom at a party size price of P485!

We were invited to the launch held on May 29, 2014, Thursday, at their Tomas Morato branch in Quezon City, and got to taste for the first time their new pizza offering that taste just like your favorite chicken carbonara. It's a dining experience worth trying out by every pizza and carbonara lover. Your two favorite dishes combined into one feast.

We were also given a quick demonstration on the pizza making process as one of their crew showed us a glimpse of how a Hawaiian pizza is made. They told us what really makes Papa John's stand out among other pizza restaurants. I have a video of the actual demonstration so please do watch and learn from the experts.

Zomato Foodie Meetup at Ristorante Bigoli

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Zomato Philippines invited us over at Ristorante Bigoli in Eastwood a few days ago to try out a couple of new pizza flavors of the restaurant... plus a surprise activity that won me some Gift certificates that I still am waiting to be delivered at home.

They have introduced the new pizza flavors almost a month already but this will be the first time they will present it to bloggers.

Zomato has been partnering with great restaurants of the metro (and continuously growing everyday) to add more publicity to promote the mouth-watering delicacies offered at the partner food establishments.

Zomato is an international brand that provides an online portal for foodies to check out restaurant reviews and directory guides. Its one of the most convenient way to be informed of food options in the Metro

Ristorante Bigoli: Going Italian in Eastwood

Wazzup Pilipinas!

After an event in Ortigas, Pasig ended early at around 2 pm, I decided to go directly to a restaurant in Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City. The restaurant was the venue for another event where I was also invited and it scheduled at 6 pm. It was very inconvenient for me to go home and then out again with just a few hours to spend.

I was invited to an event that was primarily arranged due to a tie-up between Ristorante Bigoli and Zomato. Ristorante Bigoli is an Italian Restaurant with branches at Eastwood, Trinoma and SM Fairview while Zomato is an online restaurant guide which started in India and provides information on restaurant home deliveries, take-outs, cafes and nightlife in the cities of India, Brazil, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

Zomato has already partnered with several restaurants in the Philippines and invites foodies (both bloggers and non-bloggers) to submit restaurant reviews to their site. It has some ranking or points system where reviewers level up and get rewards.

Project Pie : Where You Can Be a Pizza Master.... or Monster!

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I'm a pizza monster in real life!

When no one is looking I could eat an entire pizza pie in just a few minutes, even when I'm not hungry. It's the only meal that I order, or eat first even when there's several choices available.

Rice is the staple food of Filipinos but I quickly take rice for granted when there's pizza around. That's probably why if you will browse through my other articles here in my blog, you'll see a lot of pizza places I've tried - within a few days from each other.....hehehe.

A friend of mine probably realized that so she recommended a visit to Project Pie - the newest pizza place located along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City that will surely spark a lot of interest from pizza lovers.

Benito's Kitchen: Pizza, Pasta, Nachos Plus a Lot More

Wazzup Pilipinas!

It may not be uniquely their own concoction because pizza, pasta and nachos have been around for ages already. I grew up with these choices as among our selected meals during family bonding moments after church, malls, theme parks and other recreational attractions visits.

The three are common dishes that has marked themselves as popular meals for many Filipinos who want to stay away from our usual staple food, or as snack options during hours outside lunch or dinner time.

However, Benito's Kitchen has told us that they are making efforts in giving their dishes more of that "Oomph!" appeal to give their name an extra special recognition.

With a target market belonging to the class A and B neighborhood, the ultimate goal of Benito's Kitchen is to perhaps come up with personalized products worth every peso of their valued customers money.
