Burgoo Big Breakfast Now Available at Tomas Morato Branch

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Burgoo Tomas Morato now serves big breakfast starting from 9 am.

Yes! You read it right. Your favorite American Bar and Restaurant has now began serving breakfast starting October 26, 2015 for early bird customers looking for a satisfying meal in the early hours of the morning. We know that most establishments open late in the morning so there really are very little choices except for fast food chains that offer less fulfilling meals.

Now, Burgoo has joined the restaurants offering "almusal" or "breakfast" with choices of Continental or Filipino favorites giving us plenty of options to choose from.

"Big Breakfast" is accurate as the servings are indeed big for its very reasonable price. The prices starts at only Php 145 which gives you great value for your hard-earned money and a very satisfied tummy  to start your day right with a hearty smile.

Since the Burgoo Tomas Morato branch is not located inside a mall, it is not restricted to mall hours of operation thus the "Big Breakfast" meals are born to our delight. I believe they are able to serve breakfast in very large serving since they are also not paying too much on building rentals. But hopefully they would be opening up equally independent branches that would also serve the same "Big Breakfast."

A few days before Halloween, or more popularly known as All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day or  "Undas" for us Filipinos, we were invited by Burgoo to try out their breakfast meals for the very first time, and we were surprised to be the only guest of the restaurant that day. Since it was a Monday, and the very first day they would offer the "Big Breakfast" meals, we are proud to say we were among the first to experience a fabulous treat that was surely big enough for any individual who wants to begin their day with a heavy feast.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day so we should really dine on the best  meals to start our day right and full of energy. It is indeed a big boost to our stamina if we are able to pack a great deal of sustenance to achieve our full strength until our next meal of the day.

Burgoo Tomas Morato branch has realized has leveled up the breakfast offering with their "Big Breakfast" choices that will truly satisfy your craving for a tasty meal that's worth every peso.

The branch is very near the monument of the very first Mayor of Quezon City, Don Tomas Bernabeau Morato,  located at the intersection of Tomas Morato and Timog Avenue. This Quezon City landmark is also a memorial to remember the 24 Boy Scouts who were killed in the tragic plane crash on their way to Greece for the 11th World Scout Jamboree.

Who doesn't love a tasty breakfast every morning? It is always great to wake-up every morning to the sight of a delightful meal starting with a hot cup of coffee, tea, or fresh juice.

Some like their drinks hot, while some like them fresh and cold. I prefer all at random since I'm a very moody person and the three drinks offer their very own distinctive taste and health benefits. Burgoo has an option to make your drinks bottomless just by adding Php 45.00.

Burgoo Big Breakfast offers Bacon and Ham, Sausage, Spam or Omelette (Salmon & Spinach or Ham & Cheese) served with scrambled or sunny side up eggs plus toasted sesame bread, marmalade and butter, or Fluffy Pancakes with optional add-ons of bacon strips, chocolate chips, butterscotch & banana), for their Continental breakfast.

Meanwhile, their Filipino Favorites breakfast meals are choices of USDA Marinated Steak, Honeyed Chicken, Pork Sausage, Milkfish in Vinegar and Garlic, USDA Beef Steak with lemon and onions, which all comes with scrambled or sunny side up eggs, garlic rice, and tomato and onion salsa.

Choice of Coffee, Tea or Orange Juice

Continental Spam Filipino Favorites (Php 175)

Filipino Favorites Milkfish with garlic and vinegar (Php 175)

Filipino Favorites USDA Beef Steak with lemon and onions (Php 295)

Omelette with Salmon and Spinach (Php 175)

Continental Fluffy Pancakes (three pieces) with Bacon Strips (Php 145)

Filipino Favorites Breakfast Combo (Php 275)

Filipino Favorites USDA Marinated Steak (Php 295)
There is no doubt that the servings are indeed "big" as advertised. The four slices of Spam matched with two eggs, toasted sesame bread with marmalade and butter combo are sure winners to please my hungry tummy. The whole fried milkfish was huge enough that it would have been good for two people already. The USDA Beef Steak and USDA Marinated Steak might be a bit expensive and would become the last choices of customers because of its price compared with the rest of the "Big Breakfast" meals. But it is a great alternative for customers looking for the premier breakfast choice as opposed to the traditional "tapa." I would have appreciated the Salmon and Spinach Omelette better if it was spicier, or maybe I should just add some ketchup. The Breakfast Combo was also a huge serving since it's paired with two eggs and garlic rice.

You cannot go wrong choosing the fluffy pancakes as they are really fluffy and thick. They are also buttery in flavor which is something I really appreciate. I should know since I am the designated pancake master at home and always make it a point to make my pancakes specially made for my kids. They hit it right on the spot with their pancakes. It would have been perfect if they had more choices for the syrup.

All meals were fabulous in taste, and would surely be appreciated by most customers looking for bigger servings with affordable prices. I would definitely choose these meals instead of the small-served breakfast from the popular fast-food chains since I know I would get real value for my money plus the assurance that my tummy is satisfied and ready to last even past lunch time.

Congrats to Burgoo American Bar and Restaurant for this great breakfast treats.
