Manny Pacquiao: Death Penalty should be revived in the Philippines

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Be wary of politicians who take advantage of the situation for their own interests especially Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao said Christine Dacera's case was another example of why the death penalty should be revived in the Philippines.

Ewan ko sa iyo, Pacquiao. Dacera's case should be one of the reasons why Death Penalty shouldn't be revived because of PNP's false accusations.

The implication couldn't be clearer, but he still managed to reach the exact opposite conclusion.

Beware of a Pacquiao administration.

Police's investigation lacked credibility and proper investigation. They announced 'case solved' but the wanted suspects are still at large. One mistake or disinformation can ruin a person's life.

Conservative Christians are so pro-life, they will leap at any chance to call for the reinstatement of the death penalty.

Pacquiao is a fucking ghoul.

Death Penalty would only satisfy people in power.

How disappointing humanity is.

You want to kill people to tell them it's bad to kill? Ano pinag kaiba nila sa criminal? Nasaan ang humanity?

Remember when Pacquiao said ill words against gay people because it is against the BIBLE? Can he at least practice what he preaches? This is exactly the reason why Death Penalty shouldn't be revived because of the PNP's false accusations. Our justice system is also corrupt to the bones. Only the affluent get justice and the influential gets interviewed on television. Meanwhile, the common and ordinary citizens are mere statistics.

Can Pacquiao please just go back to boxing. We miss seeing people repeatedly punching him in the face.

I admire him as a successful boxer...but as a politician... Marquez should knock Pacman out... AGAIN!

Pacquiao may have good intentions  (though highly doubtful because of his alliances) pero this decision making of him really speaks how he isn't fit to be the next president. Remember, we need a competent president not just a philanthropist.

The biggest injustice in this case is using her death for the following:

Eric Yap, allegedly involved in corruption, offering P100K

Manny Pacquiao, a tax evader, offering P500K

Debold Sinas, a human rights violator, "solving" the case

Markus Paterson and Janella Salvador share their baby Jude to the world

Wazzup Pilipinas!

"Even the world is harsh, you're too precious that's worth shared"

The baby rumors surrounding celebrity couple Markus Paterson and Janella Salvador can finally be put to rest.

After months of speculation, celebrity couple Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson are  ready to set the record straight.

Our living Binibining Carmela, now has a baby!

Today, Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson revealed their baby to the world.

Coincidentally, yesterday was Marlo Mortel's birthday, the other half of the ex loveteam, MarNella. I can feel the pain.

Janella shares a photo of her holding a baby, with the caption, “It’s time.”

#ICYMI: Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson have finally introduced their son named Jude Trevor.

“Hey Jude, as I compose this, I’m staring at your perfect little face with all the love I didn’t know I had. So many emotions, but mostly excited that we’re ready to finally introduce you to the world,” began Janella in a loving message to her son in the video blog.

The actress confirmed her relationship with Markus last September 12, 2020, and had ignored pregnancy rumors in the past.

In an intimate vlog, Janella and Markus chronicle becoming parents, welcoming baby Jude Trevor Paterson.

Hey Jude, you are so loved.

He's so adorable! Jude is their biggest blessing for the year even though 2020 is not that great.

I remember Janella Salvador in Be Careful With My Heart. She's so young and very conyo pa, but now she' a mother na to baby Jude.

I've also seen her at an event a few years ago when she was quite new in showbiz, she seemed so innocent. Never expected her to get involved and have a family this fast.

Hats off to Markus and Janella for embracing parenthood wholeheartedly despite the despites. I am certain that you will be the best parents that you can be.

Janella and Markus don't owe anyone any explanations even though they're public figures. As humans, they deserve their privacy. Now, they have chosen to share this with the world. Kudos and congrats to them!

I’m just so happy for both Janella & Markus like they’re such good people & I know they’re gonna be good parents as well. I appreciate them sharing this to us as this journey feels so intimate.

I am so disgusted by how Filipinos slut shame Janella. She can afford having a child while some of you all can't even afford to buy load and keep pestering their mothers for money.

Janella's pregnancy could prove to us once again that there are things best kept private. and then, once you're ready to share it on the right time, the world will be a little kinder and less harsh.

Showbiz personalities do need privacy in their lives regardless if they are public figures.

#JusticeForChristineDacera: Case being used as PR stunt by PNP?

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Debold Sinas said probers have “solved” the rape-slay of a flight attendant who was found dead at a hotel in Makati City on New Year's Eve with the identification of 12 suspects, three of whom are in police custody.

"The rape-slay of Christine Angelica Dacera is solved with the arrest and indictment of three suspects,” Sinas said in a statement.

Sinas said John Pascual Dela Serna III, 27; Rommel Daluro Galido, 29; and John Paul Reyes Halili, 25, were charged for the crime of rape with homicide during inquest proceedings at the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.

The other nine suspects remain at large.

Sinas also threatens to "hunt down" suspects at-large in the killing of flight attendant Christine Dacera within 72 hours even though they still have no arrest warrant.

The audacity of Sinas to say na “solved” na yung case? Without evidence and witnesses? Sinas, you never fail to disappoint us.

Ang bilis naman. Galing kay Sinas? How was the examination done? What were the findings? What was the chronology of the events leading to the demise?

Sinas declared "solved" na ang case immediately... But to the case of the Gregorios shot by a police officer, he still wants the minor who got the video to testify "for stonger evidence" kuno.

With a lot of questions left unanswered, no Chief Sinas, this case is far from “solved.”

‘Wag ninyo namang gamitin ito. Demanding justice means knowing the TRUTH.

Sinas probably wanted to make this case na pabango ng name ng PNP after the tragic death of Sonya and her son. Siyempre sirang sira ang PNP, kaya gagamitin n'ya ang case na 'to para magpaka-hero which in fact, nakakasuka s'ya at ang ways n'ya. So disappointing.

The fact na sinabi niyang "case closed" na raw kahit ongoing pa ang investigation at di pa nahuhuli ang ibang suspects speaks volume talaga. Pabida masyado without any disregard na sa due process.

I'd rather wait it out and hear the other side first and the results of the autopsy.

Debold Sinas sounding like in a rush to close the case sounds dubious.

Let the truth and real justice be served.

We believe that police have the authority to investigate properly. Kaso ngayon anong authority pinapakita nila? Decide the end without the real context. Kung rape yan, prove it. Kung hindi, prove it. Di pwedeng magdecide based on emotions and simple investigation.

I hope it’s clear as day that we all demand justice for Christine Dacera, and real justice that is based on facts and truth.

Before we jump to conclusion! The suspects are still innocent until proven guilty. Also it will not serve justice to the victim if those suspect are innocent and get incarcerated in the process due to Siñas pronouncement that the case is closed.

Declaring one case “solved” will never save PNP’s face. If you want the people’s trust back, EARN IT. The PNP’s integrity is so tainted due to numerous abuses and irregularities again and again. That made them hard to earn respect back even if some of their men perform up to par.

I'm not defending the men, but unfortunate accidents do happen.

PNP will never earn my trust as long as Sinas and the likes are still there.

Better po magresign si Sinas and turn himself in sa lahat ng EJK at kung ano pang mga crime na involved siya na ginawa for his poong demonyo sa Malacañang. But that is just wishful thinking. He won't incriminate himself. He will take the truth to his grave since their likes do not believe in heaven or hell. They are not afraid of judgement day.

Involved parties should demand that the autopsy be done by an independent third party or by the NBI instead of PNP given that Police Chief Sinas already declared prematurely that the case is "solved".

These are gays celebrating with a girl friend. Don’t get me wrong, hindi ko pinag tatanggol yung sexualidad nila. Pero may motive and evidence ba? Was she really raped? If the autopsy reports shows na rape nga, by all means & to the full extent if law, parusahan sila!

I mean, they must rot in jail if there was really a foul play. The girl was just celebrating a new year for God’s sake. But looking how incompetent our police and the justice system are, nakakasuka.

Also, don’t use Christine Dacera’s case as an avenue to push for Death Penalty. You’re not gonna find justice for her by putting other innocent lives at stake knowing how flawed the Philippine justice system is.

Be angry & grieve. But let’s demand justice with proper due process.

It bothers me how easy it is for ppl to throw Death Penalty around without considering its implications.

We’ll only end up breeding a cycle of collateral damage, never finding justice for any of the victims.

Also, as journalists it is our responsibility to scrutinize every little detail and to challenge claims when we see it.

Are we really taking the word of the PNP (especially Sinas) for this tragedy? This is not the redemption arc they think they have. Autopsy results and witness statements should be made known.

Sinas appears to solve cases in the same manner that red/drug-tagged suspects are declared guilty and subject to execution. No facts, No forensics. No proof. Just strength of position, personal judgment, and impunity.

It's beyond unethical. Cruel, evil come to mind.

We shouldn't trust the PNP to conduct a credible investigation on anything when they’re systematically involved in extrajudicial killings and evidence planting. To achieve justice and accountability is to demand an independent investigation for Christine Dacera.

If only we could unequivocably rely on PNP,  then, we wouldn't be all riled up over Christine Dacera's case.

Unfortunately, PNP as an institution of law enforcement, has a pervasive pattern of being the real perpetrators of crimes against the people they ought to protect & serve.

P100K reward from ACT-CIS Rep. Eric Go Yap, who is allegedly involved in corruption.

P500K reward from Sen. Manny Pacquiao, a tax evader.

PNP Chief Debold Sinas leading the search for the remaining suspects.
