SAP Showcases New Technology for Connected Vehicles with Concur, Hertz, Nokia and Mojio

SAP SE demonstrated new technology to make life easier for drivers and rental car users through Internet of Things (IoT) collaboration with Concur Technologies, Hertz and Nokia. A part of the SAP® Leonardo portfolio, the SAP Vehicles Network solution creates an intelligent, automated experience — from car rental to parking and fueling location and payment, to integrated navigation and expense management for business travelers.

SAP also announced that Mojio, the connected vehicle platform and app provider for Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile USA, has joined SAP Vehicles Network and will provide parking and fueling through its app in the United States and Europe. The announcement was made at Mobile World Congress 2017, being held February 27–March 2 in Barcelona, Spain.

SAP Vehicles Network, built on SAP Cloud Platform, enables participating network companies to provide mobility services to drivers and passengers. By standardizing the business processes, SAP Vehicles Network enables integration and collaboration to facilitate new revenue streams and business opportunities for network members. Through the network, member companies can offer secure, convenient services — independent of devices or vehicles — such as parking, fueling and location-based food services, tailored for the business traveler or the individual consumer.

After a rousing and successful jam-packed start last Saturday, the Comedy Cartel returns to The Stockpile Bar this Saturday, March 11, 9pm. 

Hosted by Chris Bacula, the event features Kulat Consul, Sergio Belarus and Michelle Defensor with headliners Chip Balbuena and Joseph Montecillo.

The Stockpile is located at The Sapphire Bloc in Ortigas Center (at the back of Marco Polo Hotel).

Instituto Cervantes, FDCP Present Espacio Femenino Film Series

In celebration of the International Women’s Month, Instituto Cervantes and the Film Development Council of the Philippines present Espacio Femenino, a series of women-themed Spanish films at the FDCP Cinematheque Centre Manila, Ermita, Manila.

The film series features four documentaries directed by female Spanish directors which highlight the role of women as drivers of political and social change.

“We are in full support of Instituto Cervantes for this continuing film series made by women and for women. We hope that through this, our own Filipino women audience here will be inspired and encouraged to not just celebrate their femininity but also use it to affect positive change in our society,” said FDCP Chair Liza Diño regarding the program.
