Wazzup Pilipinas!
The
German appreciation for healthy, well-prepared
foods served with care is well known worldwide. My first time to visit a
German restaurant was not a disappointment.
I loved the traditional
German dishes such as Sauerbraten, Bratkartoffeln, sauerkraut, quark and even the usual potato salad done really right. These dishes are also best washed down with a frosty mug of beer.
This is probably why instead of just a traditional press conference, the
German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (GPCCI), together with its partners that organizes the
Mabuhay Germany 2015 event, held a food-tasting media event featuring some German food concessionaires around Metro Manila.
Members of the media, including online media or bloggers, had an opportunity to preview what to expect at the upcoming event. Last year's Mabuhay Germany event was participated by around 50 companies and almost 30 of them were exhibitors offering lots of world-renowned and favorite German food like sausages, schnitzel, doner, sauerkraut and of course, beer.
Mabuhay Germany 2015, just like its previous run last year, will again be held at the Bonifacio Global City on February 21 and 22, 2015. There will be lots of activities like a corporate bingo, an al-fresco event featuring 1980s and 1990s music and, to emphasize, definitely lots of beer.
