Top Ten New Firecrackers: Explosive Stinkers and Winners to Welcome 2014

We can now say farewell to "Goodbye Gloria", "Pacquiao" and "Bin Laden" - among many other banned firecrackers.

They were last year's popular firecrackers. This year-ender's explosive new firecrackers are now names as "Goodbye Napoles" and "Yolanda".

Whoa! I'm just not so sure if Janette Napoles would leave a bigger bang than Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's namesake, but isn't the "Yolanda" a bit insensitive. I guess nobody would want to lit up something named after the typhoon that killed thousand of our countrymen from the Visayas.

Yeah...maybe it was so devastating enough to destroy many lives and properties, including the survivors' hopes and dreams, but I won't dare touch something that will just bring out strong emotions that may cause despair especially to the survivors of the calamity.

Kaskasero ang karamihan ng bus drivers dahil naghahabol sila ng quota. Dapat talaga buwanan na ang suweldo nila at hindi percentage ng kinikita ng bus. Ang daming taong nadadamay sa pagka-abusado nila. Walang paggalang sa traffic rules, sa ibang sasakyan, sa pedestrians at sa pasahero. Praying for the families of those who died in the accident. Congratulations again to the new Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich @HenrichAlyz as she sends us her Holiday greetings. It's only a few days away until Christmas day and we sure are glad to be celebrating it with the new Ambassador for the welfare of the Earth.

There were many questions that were answered ubiquitously that caused my eyebrows to raise and left my mouth open wide in awe. I don't know if the contestants were just lost in the translation or their nerves were just too stressed out, but what really struck me was: "Aside from climate change, what is the biggest threat to Mother Earth?" Miss Thailand: "Human behavior affects the whole world." So True.

Mother Earth hates the stupid question : "A month after Yolanda struck the country, how do you think Mother Earth feels now?" Duh?!

Thew pageant was held last December 7 at Versailles Alabang in Las Pinas and started at around 8 pm.

Global Gateway Logistics City sets its very first Aerotropolis Half Marathon

Gwill host the very first GGLC Aerotropolis Half Marathon dubbed as “SCTEX Challenge: Run Beyond Your Limits”. The Half Marathon will start at the GGLC grounds extending to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). An estimated 2000 participants will join the marathon composed of 3km, 5km, 10km and 21km distances.

Organized by Hubble Multisport in partnership with GGLC, this aims to be the premier running event in Central Luzon by utilizing SCTEX in the course which allows participants to enjoy the scenic view of the country’s longest expressway giving them a unique and unforgettable running experience.

Makati City, the financial center of the Philippines filled with its multinational and local corporations, is now the newest home of the said international digital project hub.

Palet Express Makati formally opened with an open house at its location along Chino Roces Avenue in the said city.

Palet Express is one of the many companies under Inception Capital, a company acting as an investment vehicle in internet, mobile platforms, digital contents and state-of-the-art technology projects.

David Collado, the president of Palet Express Asia, graced the event together with business partners Gonzalo Del Pozo, Gustavo Medina, Ann Jacobe, and George Royeca. The friends of the four Spaniards who helped found the said tech office also came.
