ManilART 2013 Festival is to be held on October 9-13 in Taguig City at the SM Aura SMX Convention Center.

The 5th edition of ManilART, one of the largest art festivals in the Philippines, will be held at a brand-new location, the SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig City on October 9-13. The venue is the newest in the country, flocked by the most prestigious commercial and business developments in Taguig's Bonifacio Global City.

ManilART 2013 is the venue to support new talent, celebrate icons, and advance art appreciation into the cultural mainstream. Organized by the Bonafide Art Galleries Organization (BAGO) and supported by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), ManilART 2013 will showcase Philippine contemporary art through exhibitions of the country's finest galleries, as well as forums, workshops, and various activities for aficionados, artists, collectors, and investors.

12th Annual Filipino Franchise Show at the World Trade Center on October 4 to 6

The 12th Annual Filipino Franchise Show will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on October 4-6, 2013.

This is the country’s biggest and only exhibition of homegrown franchises. The event is scheduled for October 4-6, 2013 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The theme this year will be “Galing ng Pinoy,” which pays tribute to Filipino innovation and ingenuity that underscores the competitive potential of the local franchising industry in the global market.

Produced by the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI), the event anticipates more than 30,000 visitors and has secured already more than 300 exhibitors to take part in the featured products and services from various regions of the country. Participants can look forward to unique franchising investment opportunities in food, retail and services - as well as intriguing demonstrations, seminars, and training sessions.

The 6th MegaBrands Sale opens on Friday to Sunday, October 4-6, 2013, from 10AM to 9PM, at the Megatrade Hall 1, 2 & 3, at the 5th level of Mega B, SM Megamall.
