144 Hours Of Summer

144 HOURS OF SUMMER

“Summertime is always the best of what might be.” – Said the popular American author, Charles Bowden.

I definitely agreed with him. Summer is the time for relaxation and recreation and at the same time it is the time where people make the most out of their lives. As much as I didn’t actually fulfill what I wanted for my summer to be as I just lazed around for most of the time in the house. I still enjoyed it. I guessed for the reason that I was with my friends.

Now here goes my 144 hours (6 days) of summer – the best 144 hours of my life! Not even kidding…

Wazzup Pilipinas Celebrates with Manila Improv Festival

Wazzup Pilipinas!

There were several events yesterday but I decided to spend my whole day from morning until midnight at PETA for the Improv workshop, 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm Improv shows featuring International performers, until the wee hours of the night jamming with the Radioactive Sago Project.

Yes! It was the best decision made because I definitely learned a lot and was entertained to the max.

The experience was simply awesome!!! But awesome is still an understatement. There are really not enough words to describe how fascinating my day was.

Go and visit the last shows today at PETA so you would know exactly what I mean. You may even get to watch me perform on stage as one of the talents fresh from the Improv Beginners Workshop ....hehehe

It's definitely time to cheer now for a 3rd Manila Improv Festival for next year !!!!

Details of the event soon here at Wazzup Pilipinas!

DOTC to Make Commuting in Metro Manila More Convenient

Wazzup Pilipinas!

An exhaustive, two (2)-year effort to gather and organize previously-unavailable data on buses, jeepneys, and trains in Metro Manila has been completed by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), now making it possible for commuters to plan their trips more efficiently and conveniently.

The initiative of building the Philippine Transit Information Service (PTIS) began in 2011, at a time when the Transport agency could not immediately provide certain essential information to commuters, such as the best route to take at a particular time, as well as the travel times involved.

“The need to gather reliable data at that time in order to deliver convenient and efficient services to the public was immediately recognized and pursued,” explained DOTC spokesperson Migs Sagcal.
