Infinity Resort: The Finest Accommodation in Puerto Galera

Wazzup Pilipinas!

To continue with our Puerto Galera adventure where we visited the Infinity Resort, we found ourselves in an almost paradise-like environment where the resort is surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains and the sea.

The owner of the resort did not go stingy on making this place a wondrous work of art. From the gate of the resort to the facade of the buildings, their architectural designs are modern yet embracing a cultural perspective. We all swooned over the spectacular 400 sq. meter picturesque infinity pool, their soothing spa treatments at their Malasimbo Spa, plus the other amenities within this 2 hectare property. But the fascination doesn't end there.

You'll see different kinds of wood used in the creation of these masterpieces indicating how the owners appreciate mostly natural materials in the construction of their resort. Words are not enough to fully express how amazing these structures are because every building stands proud with great character of its own.

If you were amazed of the lavish exteriors, wait until you see the insides of the villas or rooms. This makes the 20 well-appointed accommodations equally admirable for a very comfortable and cozy stay over the weekend or for several days just to let loose and enjoy the pleasures of life made more beautifully when you stay at Infinity Resort.

Bimini Bahamas: Islands in the Stream

Wazzup Pilipinas!

I enjoyed two nights of Bimini Bahamas experience. It's my break from work to enjoy and celebrate the shore. The beach has super-fine white sand, The water is emerald-colored. All-in-all, we had a great time!

Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the United States that is located just 50 miles off Florida’s coast. The island boasts of miles of pristine beaches. Bimini is historically significant and is popularly known as Ernest Hemingway’s favorite escape. Hemingway led the way for fishermen who pilot their own boats across the Gulf Stream from Florida to follow in his footsteps, and pit themselves against some of the world’s feistiest game fish and each other. Jimmy Buffett spent some time there to write his book, and Martin Luther King, Jr. also composed parts of his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech at the island. A bronze bust of his image is at the Bimini Craft Centre in Alice Town.

It's historical complexity and renowned past which includes Bimini Road, believed to be the remnant of the legendary Lost City of Atlantis, are just some of the reasons why visitors from around the world enjoy an opportunity to frolic within its shores.

To Go on Visita Iglesia or Hit the Beach?: That Is the Big Question!

Wazzup Pilipinas!

What are your plans for the long vacation days this Holy Week?

Holy Week or “Semana Santa” is one of the most important religious festivities of the year. They say the Lenten season starts on Ash Wednesday, when people get ash in the form a cross on their foreheads. During my younger years, I would usually get annoyed seeing those and sometimes tempted to get their attention but had to stop when I realized it was Ash Wednesday. Holy Week culminates on Good Friday commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, and ends on Easter Sunday to celebrate his rise to heaven.

If you're like me whose plagued with a constant case of wanderlust, I am always itching to go somewhere when time and budget permits. I am raring to go on an adventure, and hop on board a plane, cruise ship or bus to anywhere I can afford. The free days off work, with no immediate responsibilities and very minimal obligations, during Holy Week is very tempting to push me somewhere off to where I will enjoy the most - to those places that I've never been to and worth exploring.

But I guess I have to make use of the week doing something else instead of further turning black because of too much exposure under the sun. While some of you head off to lounge on the beach, I will going around visiting churches. Anyway, luckily there's an alternate invitation that I accepted to quench my thirst for adventure. This week I am off to a Visita Iglesia, but next week I will set foot on one of the most beautiful and developed beach in the Philippines.

Santa Cruz Island of Zamboanga: Pink Sand Beaches of the South

Wazzup Pilipinas!

It's now undoubtedly summer time in the Philippines even though it somewhat rained a few days ago. You can feel the extreme heat everywhere you go. The air-conditioning in public buses cannot cope with how hot it is right now that you'll sweat it out profusely if you commute in the middle of the day.

I would often bring a spare shirt everytime, and would take a bath before and after the daily trips. If only I could shower while commuting, I would do it just to get rid of this sticky sweaty feeling. I would do everything in exchange for the opportunity to dip in a pool, or better yet, I would trade my soul for a swim in the southern seas - specifically the pink sand coralline beaches of the Great Santa Cruz Island of Zamboanga.

The color of the sand comes from the pulverized red organ pipe coral from eons of surf erosion mixed with the white sand. There is a smaller island nearby called Little Santa Cruz Island but it's a guarded military installation.  Illegal coral reef mining has wiped out most of the Great Santa Cruz Island's vast and beautiful coral reef population but the coral reef at the Little Santa Cruz Island is still healthy, and could become a possible source for restoration of the big island.

Marian Rivera Oozing with Sexiness on FHM Philippines' 14th Anniversary Issue

Wazzup Pilipinas!

The season of sun, sand, and sexy is upon us! Aside from being the best time for some rugged outdoor adventures, summer is also the perfect time to ogle at beach babes (or six packed-abed hunks) oozing with sexiness. A day in the beach is incomplete until we've seen bodies worthy of praises. There is nothing else better to look at, aside from the beauty of nature, than great looking wet and sandy hot bodies in scantily beach wear.

FHM celebrates its 14th Anniversary with the Sexiest Woman in the Land! Marian Rivera is their March 2014 cover girl!

Marian poses here sitting in the sand as if she's wearing nothing but jewelries. The make-up seems a bit inappropriate t be seen at the beach but it surely brought out a solemn look out of her charming face. I would have preferred a smile, but I guess they were more interested in exuding sophistication.

Known best for her adorable portrayals of Darna and Marimar, Marian continues to charm the senses of Filipino men. She truly has wonderful body oozing
with sex appeal unmatched until this day thus earning her rightful recognition as FHM Philippines' sexiest woman.

They also had another cover "that almost made it". You can see it here below if you click on read more.
