Wazzup Pilipinas!?

The celebration of Mother's Day is rapidly approaching, and it is a day that all moms everywhere should cherish. Mother's Day is the only day of the year you may give her the gift of your undying affection and gratitude. In my opinion, it's important to surprise every mother. She is the one who gave you a good upbringing and who has always put you first. A mother's contributions to her family and the lives of her children are immeasurable. Mothers do an essential job that cannot be ignored. It is crucial to make her feel loved and valued on this particular day. You may make this day special for your mum in many different ways. Indeed, this Mother's Day may be made even more memorable and enjoyable for mum if the whole family gets together. Everything you do should come straight from the heart. It's not about how much money you spend so much as how much thinking you put into it. Consider what your mum really wants for Mother's Day this year. Some suggestions for this year's Mother's Day party follow. Choose one or combine them all to make this Mother's Day truly special.

Spend Some Quality Time Together

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and forget to spend quality time with loved ones. However, it's important to take a break from the hectic schedule and make time for the people who matter most, especially on special occasions like Mother's Day. Spending time with your mother doesn't have to involve extravagant plans or expensive gifts. It can be as simple as having a cup of tea together, taking a walk in the park, or watching a movie. The investment of time spent together elevates the significance of the event and creates cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Celebrate It With Cakes

Like with any special occasion, Mother's Day calls for a huge celebration, and everyone knows that no party is complete without a cake. You may make this beautiful extra special by ordering mothers day cake online from one of several stores. They provide midnight cake delivery, so you may surprise your mum with a sweet treat even if it's after she's gone to bed. Presenting a surprise at midnight is all the rage now.

Write A Letter To Her

There is no need for the letter to be overly elaborate. Let her know you appreciate her and adore her by simply wishing her a happy Mother's Day and telling her how you feel. To show her how you feel, this is the most effective approach. A letter can be a lifesaver when words fail you and you can't find a way to express your deepest emotions over the phone or in person. When your mum reads a letter from you, she'll feel loved and appreciated, and this is something that will make everyone happy.

Buy Her A Gift

Getting her unique mothers day gifts is the perfect way to brighten her day and show her how much you care. You should try to find out what she needs a week in advance so that you can get her a present on time. Alternately, think about what she likes and get her that.

You can even create her a gift by painting a picture or constructing a university for her to attend. The finest present you could give her for Mother's Day this year is this.

Here are a few suggestions for how to make her birthday very unforgettable. Choose what works for you and get ready for the day using the tips provided. If you know the key to your mother's happiness, then you should celebrate Mother's Day in accordance with that.

The Department of Education (DepEd) highlighted the importance of preventive education in curbing drug-related concerns and how to strengthen programs and interventions against substance abuse in schools and the community during the 3rd National Barkada Kontra Droga Convention (NBKDC).

“We must confront [drug addiction] problem with empathy, compassion, and understanding while arming ourselves with determination and bravery to pull our barkada away from the trap of drug addiction,” Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Z. Duterte said.

DepEd Assistant Secretary for Operations Dr. Dexter Galban likewise urged learners to continue advocating and participating in drug abuse prevention activities.

“All of you here today, coming from different regions of the country, are given the opportunity and even the challenge to become champions. You’re here today for a reason. You’re here today to serve as beacons of hope for those having difficulty saying no to illegal drugs, saying no to substance abuse,” Asec. Galban said.

During the three-day event hosted by DepEd SOCCSKSARGEN, attendees listened to discussions on the salient features of the DepEd policy on the BKD Plus Program; the policies, updates, and intervention for the Department's No Smoking Campaign; and how to develop information education communication materials, among others.

Meanwhile, Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Undersecretary Earl Saavedra put emphasis on curbing the vulnerabilities of the youth by not allowing them to become the victims of substance abuse.

“BKD is not only a flagship program that starts and ends with interagency commitment. We were able to walk the talk pagdating sa BKD by tapping partners and stakeholders who are our important allies pagdating sa pagsugpo ng drug addiction in our communities,” DDB Usec. Saavedra said.

The event likewise aimed to strengthen camaraderie, collaboration, cooperation, and solidarity in BKD implementers' commitment to attain a drug-free lifestyle through sharing leadership stories and best practices, and formulation of action plans to prevent drug abuse in schools and the community.

“I firmly believe that you are the ones that can help lead us to a better future. As I’ve always said, the youth are done waiting for the world to change. The world is now waiting for the youth to change it,” Asec. Galban said.
