Intelegencia ends 2020 with incredible growth inspite of the pandemic

Wazzup Pilipinas!

After facing its most eventful and tough year yet, Intelegencia BPO surprisingly celebrated during the year end with its employees and partners.

The global pandemic, along with the corresponding GCQ, MECQ, and whatever quarantines or lockdown terms they called it that followed was truly challenging for the company because it brought numerous struggles since March 2020. The shutdown crippled both public and private transportation due to limitation in commuting and travelling, client business woes were plenty, and the restrictive “new normal” guidelines were some of the challenges that threatened to disrupt the productivity of the organization.

The HR outsourcing service provider proudly went through all these hurdles by creating admirable solutions one challenge at a time.

The BPO implemented a work-from-home arrangement and offered shuttle services to its work force after public transportation became unavailable due to the nationwide quarantines strictly implemented by the government. It went a further notch up by also investing in its very own shuttle vehicles.

Aside from the Year-End Party, Intelegencia also made the extra effort to create a happy environment for its employees through engagement activities designed to enhance and motivate their members' personal well-being. Some of this year’s projects include the Fitness Challenge, INTG Superheroes Contest, and the Music Icons Quiz Night.

Pandemic or not, it was still business as usual for the members of the company that offers international hr consulting services as we can't really afford to shutdown the world seemingly because of its global clients. Everyone in the team offered uninterrupted exemplified service to eventually churn out impressive results earning a client growth of 62 percent. The Intelegencia team even grew from 300 to 500 members by the end of this year. The onboarding of new partners, coupled with the trust given by their existing accounts, allowed this growth to happen proving that productivity comes naturally when the team members are given convenience and importance.

Donation drives to various communities affected by COVID19 situation and the recent typhoon disasters through the “Sharing Is Caring” program were also among the company's projects designed to help alleviate our kababayans sufferings.

2021 is hopefully the start of another productive new year for Intelegencia regardless of the continuing pandemic. Its management gives most of the credit to its notable success to its hardworking members. Founder and CEO Perry Chaturvedi was quoted saying “I didn’t know if we were going to survive as a company [and] as a group. But thankfully, Intelegencia globally survived. Intelegencia Philippines did outstanding this year.”

With that statement in mind, plus armed with fresh ideas and a newfound determination, the Intelegencia team is driven to face 2021 aiming to achieve even bigger goals.

CytoDyn Inc.’s Vyrologix (leronlimab-Vyrologix) shows impressive results in critically ill COVID-19 patients

Wazzup Pilipinas!

CytoDyn Inc., a late-stage biotechnology company developing CCR5 inhibiting drug leronlimab- Vyrologix, showed impressive results in improving the immune function of critically ill COVID-19 patients in the United States.

Leronlimab- Vyrologix is a humanized monoclonal antibody drug used to treat HIV patients. The drug is a C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CCR5) antagonist that protects healthy T cells from viral infection. The CCR5 receptor plays a crucial role in modulating immune cell trafficking to sites of inflammation.[1] Because of the drug’s ability to mitigate the cytokine storm which is common in COVID-19 fatalities,[2] it has become the basis for its study as a potential COVID-19 treatment.[3]

Leronlimab- Vyrologix appears to be a powerful treatment with hardly any drug related serious adverse events. CytoDyn’s recent treatment of patients under eIND (Emergency Investigational New Drug) with leronlimab for COVID-19 infection have shown impressive results as the drug reduced the plasma viral load and restored the immune function by day 7.5, [4]

CytoDyn has already completed its Phase 2 clinical trial for COVID-19, a double-blinded, randomized clinical trial for mild-to-moderate COVID-19 patients in the U.S. The company has also recently announced that they have completed the enrollment of 394 patients in its Phase 2b/3 randomized clinical trial for the severe-to-critically ill COVID-19 population.

Cytodyn has appointed Chiral Pharma, a subsidiary of New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation (NMPC) as its authorized partner for the distribution of Leronlimab-Vyrologix to the Philippines subject to registration approval of Philippine Food and Drug Administration. Through the partnership, the companies are working to register Leronlimab under a licensed physician’s request for Compassionate Special Permit (CSP). It is the desire of Cytodyn and Chiral Pharma to make Leronlimab immediately available to patients with Covid-19.

Tim Yap and his birthday party in Baguio city amidst the pandemic

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Media personality Tim Yap on Baguio event:

"I wanted to assure the public that we really followed all the LGU protocols bago kami umakyat ng Baguio. Alam po natin na ang Baguio is napaka-strict sa kanilang protocols and they will not allow anyone na umakyat ng Baguio na positive.

Lahat ng mga tao, bago umakyat ng tao, kailangan maka-secure ng negative na test. We ensured all the protocols were in place. Itong mga kasama ko, mga kaibigan ko, were also tested negative.

Lahat ng mga tao, mayroon silang mga mask. That time papunta na yung mga tao sa buffet table. Pagkatapos noon, kakain na sila so tinanggal nila maskara nila. Pagkatapos noon, pumasok yung mga dancers na mag-community dancing so hindi nila nasuot mask nila na sumayaw sila.

Ako po yung nag-organize noon. Ang pakay po noon is to promote Baguio as a destination parang local tourism. Sa akin, yun ang hangarin ko talaga. Para mag-push ng local tourism. Kung makikita mo social media ko, lahat talaga yun ang ginagawa ko for the past few months.

We made sure that we secured all necessary permits para matuloy ito dahil ang talagang goal namin, ang aim namin is to help restart the economy, reopen the economy at ma-promote ang local tourism.

I am fully cooperative po sa atin gobyerno at sa ating community kung ano kailangan gawin, nandito ako para mag-cooperate.

It was never my intention to offend anyone. I would never do anything na makaka-endanger kahit sinuman. We are all responsible citizens of this country and all we want to do is really is to help restart the economy and the push for local tourism."

Tim Yap missed all the points. *hyperventilates in ‘SANAOL PRIVILEGED’*

Cordillera region is going to be on a lockdown on Feb 1-15 because of the new COVID variant tapos makikita ko sa trending topics yung party ni Tim Yap.

This is why I have too little respect for some tourists who visit our region. They disrespect our hospitality.

The cheek, the nerve, the gall, the audacity and the gumption of Tim Yap to use local tourism as an excuse for the insensitivity and  callousness.

Tim Yap is a perfect example on how the privileged people never understand how hard this pandemic is to the rest of the world!

What I learned today: 'Pag mahirap ang nag-party - pasaway.

'Pag mayayaman, promoting tourism.

Baguio needs promoting as tourist destination? I don't think so. Also, who gets Tim Yap as influencer these days? The oldies of tourism who remember him from his Embassy days?

Tim Yap using the lame excuse of “promoting” Baguio and “boosting” its local tourism. In this time of the pandemic?

Baguio doesn't need someone like Tim Yap and friends to promote tourism, especially if they can't even show how to be a responsible tourists.

Tim Yap's brand of confidence to think that Baguio needs him to place the town on the map. LGU strategy of inviting him to throw a birthday party for his friends is so effective. Maybe advertise lots at the cemetery so when you visit Baguio you can stay forever.

Taking COVID tests doesn’t mean you’re allowed to violate protocols.

And they think “negative” results from swab tests or other tests “shield them from contracting the virus somehow or at least through the duration of their party. Vaccine po yun!

All sorts of excuses.   Clearly it was not just during the “buffet” that they were not wearing masks.

Granted they tested negative. is Baguio zero covid cases now? What if it's the other way around & sila yung nahawa from an infected na baguio resident? Is it really that worth it ang magpa "party" in this time of pandemic?

Assuming na negative sila, allowed ang ganoong kadaming tao sa event? Walang nagsuot ng face mask or shield? Allowed yun sa Baguio?  Walang protocol  ang management sa guests?

Doesn't mean if you do a COVID-19 test and turn out negative, you can just party like this and disregard health protocols. You can safely gather but not like this which reeks of privilege and carelessness. Tim Yap and influencer friends are clearly another *breed*

The DOT Cordillera Administrative Region earlier launched a probe into the reported "party" organized by Yap at The Manor in Baguio City.  A Notice to Explain has already been issued to the establishment.

Unfortunately, either because of being largely Catholic, or an innate desire to be middle/upper class, we Filipinos have a tendency to give celebrities/politicians/anyone popular or powerful enough, a free pass to almost anything.

Alam nyo kung ano ang kalokohan? Baguio residents sacrificed not to visit family & relatives during the holidays dahil bawal ang gathering, but some "privileged" were busy partying somewhere in Baguio.

This was done in poor taste, very insenstive sa part ni Tim Yap. When people in Baguio are struggling because of another quarantine, we’ll hear this news. Nakaka******* lang!

Kaya di mapagalitan ni mayor ang nangyaring party, kasi nga... kasama si mayor...

So ironic that Mayor Magalong was the one that announced CAR to be placed under GCQ yet he was there at Tim Yap's birthday party.

Dear Cat Arambulo, are you also going to ask why don't these motherfuckers stay at home?
- Tim Yap
- Apples Aberin
- KC Concepcion
- Raymond Gutierrez

How about we fine people for violating social distancing restrictions & make it proportional to their income.

Don't penalise the poor who are trying to make ends meet during the pandemic, but charge reckless rich people like Mond Gutierrez & Tim Yap MILLIONS for what they did.

Siguro nakakainis lang din na people from La Trinidad and other neighbors of Baguio have to undergo strict health protocols for their livelihood but I guess Tim Yap can have his birthday party with all his guests.

Yep, Tim Yap was a fuckup for his Baguio party. But didn't Harry Roque go there too while Cagayan and Isabela were submerged in floodwater? Let's not forget about that other bitch. Nail them both.
