General Overview of the CCNA R&S Certification Exams

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Today, the networking is one of the most important areas of concern, because of the use of theworldwidecomputer network used by the majority of the users. The computer network means the interconnection between the number of computers and the permission or access to their data and resources. The network systemwiththe interconnection of autonomouscomputers forms an integrated computing system using the networking software. It is possible to have the geographical distribution of computer communication for exchange of data and information. The networking system provides a number of advantages to the users, such as:
Simultaneous execution of processes
  • Coordination of the activities with each other
  • Exchange of information and data
  • Communication and transfer of data
The network consists of a hardware and software system for performing work on the creation of computer networksto allow the communication between computers. Therefore, there is a need of engineers who can understand the network hardware and software systems. Cisco is a company that provides hardware and software components for a networking system. Hence,it becomes necessary for engineers to be trained in network systems and system operation.

Such a training program conducted by Cisco is known as CCNA or Cisco Certified Network Associate. This is the associate-level certification that it is regarded as a Cisco career credential.

The candidates who want to achieve the CCNA R&S certification should pass the certification exams. These tests are designed to show the knowledge, skills, and ability of individuals. The networking engineer needs such skills as network installation and operation of the network of different varieties. The maintenance is an important function when the candidates need to troubleshootproblems with a small and corporate network. The candidate must know the routing and switching system and their basics. A network engineer must implement a network security and authorization system that supports the security of IP addresses and network protocols. The engineers should understand the TCP/IP and OSI models used in IP-based networks and systems. There are various WAN technologies whose operation and configuration of ISO devices are known. VLANs are used in an enterprise system with advanced dial-up networks that define IP routes and traffic management systems using an access list.

The CCNA Security certification exams are provided in the areas of networking fundamental, LAN and WAN technologies, software and hardware of network system, security and management of the system, and wireless technology. The examinations dumps provided by prepaway.com check the ability of candidates to work on the networking technology such as design of network, hardware construction, software system and security, maintenance and testing of the network system.

The field of the networking is developing rapidly because the employers are interested in recruiting the certified engineers for such advanced technologies as wireless networking, security, administration, cloud computing, data center establishments, etc. Therefore, the CCNA R&S tests have the questions relating to these areas.

The networking engineers need to know the network fundamentals better, and they should be able to understand the network settings and concepts. These CCNA R&S examinations deal with these basic concepts and understanding, thus, the candidates who will pass the exams may have jobs such as:
  • Network technician
  • Network engineer
  • Network software engineer
  • Maintenance engineer
  • Development engineer
  • Research engineer
  • Network security engineer
  • Network administrators
The following certification exams offered by Prepaway.com are associated with the CCNA Security certification. An individual should take one of them to become a certified specialist. You can pass the exam with dumps & training courses.

200-125 CCNA: This examination contains 60-70 questions and lasts 90 minutes. It measures the individuals’ knowledge and ability associated with network fundamentals, WAN and LAN technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 routing technologies, infrastructure security, services, and management.

The average salary of the CCNA R&S certified specialist ranges from $260,111 to $ 921,142.

Singaporean Martial Arts Prodigy Amir Khan Marches on to Fulfill Destiny

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Persistence plays a pivotal role in life. It is is defined as continuing to move on with whatever goal has been planned originally even though an external event or initial losses may have slowed down, or temporarily halt a person while the person is on the way towards achieving their goals. It requires a person to continue keeping their mental attitude positive no matter what happened.
Singapore martial arts sensation Amir Khan had to hold onto his persistence as he found out at an early age that life was never a straightforward pathway.
The 23-year-old prospect from Singapore is a self-described introvert as he was once embarrassed by his peers due to the involuntary tics and twitches that were caused by having the neurological disorder Tourette's Syndrome.
Although Khan has learned to control his tics now, life was very different for him when he was younger.
“Growing up, I used to have spasms. I used to shake my head a lot. I would blink my eyes and make facial expressions. When I was younger, it was really bad. When I was in school, the other kids would pick on me and imitate me. It was tough growing up with it,” he recalled.
Khan took up martial arts to gain confidence after a difficult time at school, when his Tourette's Syndrome was at its worst.
"After I did martial arts, partly because I look better and mentally I feel better as well, I have more confidence," he said. “I didn't really enjoy my school days. After a while, I gained more confidence and it subsided. I felt more confident and I wasn't embarrassed about myself.”
With a supportive family behind him, Khan never felt his condition prevented him from achieving his goals.
Khan started his martial arts journey at the age of 13, having the sudden impulse to learn Muay Thai and quickly falling in love with it.
Widely regarded as “The art of eight limbs,” Khan discovered that Muay Thai helped him to focus and eventually overcome his disorder.
“I believe martial arts has helped me through my Tourette’s. Whenever I felt like I could not control my Tourette’s, then I would go to the gym and I would sweat it out. I felt relaxed and better after each session,” he stated.
“In martial arts, you cannot really take your eyes off your opponent when you are sparring with him. You have got to really focus, or else you will get hurt, so it definitely taught me how to focus, and I was able to bring it over into real-life situations,” he added.
Muay Thai began to flow through Khan’s blood, and soon at the tender age of 14, he competed in his first amateur contest.

After a few more bouts, he spent two months training in Thailand, which led him to consider turning professional.
After mastering Muay Thai that demands steady hands and Zen-like concentration despite having Tourette's Syndrome, Khan transitioned to the constantly-evolving world of mixed martial arts, winning his first four amateur bouts from 2012 to 2014 in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
Khan honed his skills there for nearly four years before returning to Singapore, aspiring to make himself a household name.
Four years later, Khan is considered one of the most promising young talents to represent Singapore on the international stage of martial arts like ONE Championship.
Holding a professional record of 9-2, Khan is currently riding high on a six-match winning streak with his victories coming by way of exciting finish.
In his recent trip to the ONE Championship cage last November, Khan figured in his most impressive performance yet, overwhelming lightweight veteran Adrian “The Hunter” Pang with a showcase of impeccable striking and great takedown defense.
Khan will once again strut his wares on the global stage as he takes on Russian wrecking machine Timofey Nastyukhin at ONE: QUEST FOR GOLD, which takes place at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on 23 February.

While Khan admitted his decision to choose a path less travelled has earned him the derision of his naysayers, he is determined to prove them wrong by carving a successful career in the sport.
“I try to stay positive, but then sometimes people will talk and negative thoughts go into your head,” he stressed. “Some of them are sarcastic and mock me for taking the sport so seriously. They question if I can make a living out of it, and ask what happens when I’m old and have no other skills.
“So I tell them to watch me. In ten years, let’s see who’s successful. I have my long-term goals in the sport and I’ll remain focused on achieving them. That’s the best way to prove my critics wrong,” he said.
Among Khan’s goals is to inspire others to pursue their dreams and passion wholeheartedly. In order to champion that cause, he knows that he will first have to show that he can reach the top and win a ONE Championship world title.
“My current goal is to be a world champion on a big global promotion like ONE Championship. What I hope to do is inspire people to chase what they love. I want my martial arts career to be proof that if you have the passion for something, and if you’re good at it, you’ll be able to make a living out of it,” he ended.

Foundation for Media Alternatives Issues Briefing Paper on SIM Card Registration

Wazzup Pilipinas!

With efforts to establish a mandatory SIM card registration gaining steam in Congress, the Foundation for Media Alternatives (FMA) released a briefing paper on the subject this Monday, February 5, 2018.

FMA is a civil society organization whose aim is to assist civil society organizations and other development stakeholders in promoting and defending their right to information and communication.

In its brief, the organization presented an overview of the benefits and risks that come with a SIM card registration system, as evidenced by the actual experiences of other countries. It noted that the rationale behind most SIM card registration policies is their supposed ability to deter crime and terrorism, while at the same time increasing public access to mobile-based government services. Something that is inconsistent with the experiences of many jurisdictions that have such a system. In a number of instances, its weakness in curbing terrorism has been exposed due to the ability of criminals to circumvent regulation. It even caused the emergence of black markets where stolen or counterfeit SIM cards are sold, as well as an increase in handset theft incidents, as demand for untraceable phones spiked.

In the recent past, concerns about its effectiveness have already been raised by local stakeholders such as the Department of Information and Communications Technology and the telecommunications industry. Even the Office of the President of the previous administration had occasion to express its doubts about the measure.

The briefing paper highlights other issues surrounding the controversial measure, not least of which is its potential use for surveillance against those belonging to at-risk groups or sectors such as journalists, whistleblowers, witnesses, and victims of discrimination and oppression. Ultimately, it argues, an environment where intrusions to privacy become institutionalized and prevalent, inevitably poses a significant risk to other fundamental rights and freedoms, such as free speech, freedom of assembly, and right to information, just to name a few.

In conclusion, FMA declares that the promise of SIM card registration to help law enforcement and improve the delivery of government services has already been revealed as illusory, or at least significantly inflated. The group then enjoins the government to consider all things—particularly the dangers posed by the proposal—before rushing to pass a policy that can do more harm than good. For the public, they need to remain vigilant and resist any or all measures that attempt to narrow individual space for privacy and other related rights and freedoms.

Tugade Asks Public to Stop Spreading Fake News About Baggage Pilferage in Airports

Wazzup Pilipinas!

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade today urged the public to be more responsible in sharing posts on social media about baggage pilferage in airports.

Tugade acknowledges that incidents in the past have left a dent on the integrity and honesty of airport officials and personnel, but he said sharing non-verified posts would only make things worse.

The transportation chief was reacting to a reported incident at the Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Terminal last January 31. A Filipina traveler, Fe Cabalquinto, claimed in a Facebook post that a senior couple arriving from Korea were victims of baggage pilferage.

Authorities of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) immediately conducted an investigation and found that while the box was partially opened, no important items were lost.

The couple, Efren Valero and Teresita Velero, also signed a certification to state that they did not authorize Cabalquinto to share the incident on social media.

Further, the investigation found that the box was inspected at a US airport, and not at the NAIA. The tape wrapped around the box was a US TSA inspection tape.

With this, Tugade said that he strongly supports the call of MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal for Cabalquinto to take down her post and make a public apology, and reminded the public that by doing such reckless actions, the country’s image and tourism may take a hit.

“Naiintindihan ko na may mga kababayan tayong wala nang tiwala sa mga tauhan sa airports. Malamang naalala pa nila ‘yung mga insidente ng pagbubukas ng balikbayan boxes dati pati na laglag-bala. Pero nakikiusap kami na sana naman mas maging responsible sa pagpapakalat ng mga impormasyon sa social media. May mga tao rin naman sa airports na maayos na nagtatrabaho at maaaring maapektuhan ng mga maling paratang,” said Tugade.

For his part, Monreal assured passengers that MIAA is doing all it can to ensure their safety, as well as baggage handling and safekeeping.

“We are making all necessary steps in order to prevent these incidents. But, while it is your freedom to share anything on social media, remember that freedom comes with responsibility,” added Monreal.

New guidelines for baggage handling

In January, Secretary Tugade summoned airport officials, airport ground handling companies, manpower service providers, and security managers following a reported incident of baggage theft at the Clark International Airport.

He bared new guidelines for baggage handlers: (1) personnel uniforms must not have pockets, (2) boots or shoes must not be loose, (3) concerned personnel are no longer allowed to bring or use cellphones while on duty, and (4) are not likewise allowed to wear jewelry.

The incident reached President Rodrigo Duterte and warned that should a similar incident happen again, “heads will roll.”
