Flashback Friday sa Bangka-sion on June 20

Wazzup Pilipinas!

After the super typhoon Yolanda hit Philippine waters last November 2013. A lot of our country men lent a hand to help those who have been damaged severely by the storms. Most relief effort focused in Tacloban since it was the worst hit area. But there are areas where in relief wasn’t able to reach. This includes Coron, Palawan.

The situation of Tabang Tambayan's adopted community in Coron is depressing. The basic needs of the community are only given to them through various fund raising events.

The focus for this June is their livelihood. Most men from Sitio Maricaban are fisher mongers but since the storm destroyed their boats, their livelihood was put into halt. Tabang Tambayan aims to build at least 20 fishing boats for the community’s perusal, through the funds raised through a reunion and meet.

Tabang Tambayan prepared two events for the month of June first of which includes the Bangka-sion on the 20th of June at B-Side, Collective. Come join in this once in a lifetime event! Meet new friends and catch up with old ones!
