I really salute all of those players representing our country in sports although not all of them are pure Filipino. Some of them are half Filipino and half American but we should be still thankful to them because they chose to represent our country after all.

According to Mr. Joaquin Henson of “The Philippine Star”, there are 11 Fil-Ams reinforcing the Philippine national baseball team now competing in the four-way World Baseball Classic qualifiers in New Taipei City and according to general manager Marty Eizmendi, they’re all committed to play their hearts out for flag and country.

The Team Azkals which represents the Philippines is one of the best and most popular teams in the field of Soccer. Most of the players belong to Team Azkals are actually Filipino-American like the popular Younghusband brothers.
