Party of Life to Give Hope to Children with Cancer

Philippine Educational Charities(PEC), Fil-Event.com & EuradioPinoy.com presents to you one of the most wonderful events to happen this year. Its the 2nd Annual Party of life to give hope to children with Cancer 2013 to be held on July 12 at 10 am at the Philippine Childrens Medical Center in Quezon City Philippines.

We welcome all to join in a very special event celebrating the lives of more then 400 children with cancer along with their family.

This is a great day for the children and their family to enjoy a day of smiles and happiness. For the children to forget their cancer and to be a kid again for a few hours.

NBA Legend Sam Perkins and former member of the Indiana Pacers will be in Manila from July 1 – July 4 to promote the upcoming NBA Global Games Philippines 2013. The game, which will be played at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, October 10, is part of the NBA’s comprehensive Global Games schedule and will be the league’s first preseason game in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.

Perkins will headline the ‘100 Day Countdown’ event, conduct mall visits and participate in special programs conducted by the NBA and SM Group.

The NBA Global Games will see eight NBA teams play in eight cities in six countries this October. The schedule—which will also feature the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards—will also include the first-ever NBA preseason game in Brazil, and in the cities of Bilbao, Spain, and Manchester, England. It will also include games in Beijing, Istanbul, Shanghai, and Taipei.

The launch of the first national transport application (app) development competition led by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) will be heldtomorrow, 2 July 2013, in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Cebu City Government.

In a move to maximize the conveniences made possible by modern technology in delivering its services to the people, the transport agency is opening its database on bus, train, and jeepney routes in Metro Manila, called the Philippine Transit Information Service (PTIS), to the public, via the Philippine Transit App Challenge.

The competition will be a three (3)-month long hack-at-home event – a new trend in the IT community which allows software developers to create apps at their own pace and on their own time, using the same datasets provided to them. Based on the international experience, hack-at-home events lead to the development of a broad spectrum of apps, many of which were not previously conceived and which give end-users a wide range of products to utilize and enjoy.

Filipino-American actress, model and singer Roxanne Barcelo shows off her curve and skin as she graces the cover page of FHM Philippines 100 Sexiest Women of the World supplement magazine for this month of July 2013.

The 28-year-old was one of the 14 housemates of ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. She became finalist on ABC's Hollywood Dream before joining the Big Brother House.

Barcelo co-hosted GMA Network’s children's show via "Art Angel" in 2010 with the original host Tonypet Gaba replacing former hosts Pia Archangel and Krystal Reyes.

Pinoy Bloggers Night with The Apprentice Asia TeamPH Celina and Jonathan.

I was glad to have been a part of a gathering to support two of my fellow Filipinos involved in a reality game show called The Apprentice Asia.

Yes! The Apprentice, an American reality game show billed as "The Ultimate Job Interview" and hosted by real estate magnate, businessman and television personality Donald Trump, is also now in ASIA with the one and only TONY FERNANDES, Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia!

Tony Fernandes managed to turn AirAsia, a failing government-linked commercial airline, into a highly successful budget airline. He has built an amazing company. The power of AirAsia as a regional brand is enormous.

Similar to the U.S. version, The Asian version stars several business people competing in an elimination competition. The winner of The Apprentice Asia will be given a once in a life time opportunity to be Tony Fernandes' apprentice for 1 year, working for one of Tony Fernandes' companies and earning a six figure salary.

Preview magazine's July 2013 Best Dressed cover has its Fashion Editor-at-Large Liz Uy with her A-list (ever-so-fashionable) clientele: Vice Ganda, Bea Alonzo, and Isabelle Daza.

Vice Ganda is sooo out of place here. What's the concept anyway? Nothing personal, I wish Vice Ganda would just vanish from this scene.The other ladies are super fab! Speechless here.

Bea looks so stunning and like a Queen, While Isabelle is like a Living Doll, Vice is edgy and supernatural and Liz is Simple but Elegant.
