Did you know that antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an increasingly serious health threat globally? It is predicted that AMR will kill more people than cancer by 2050.

In line with the celebration of World Antibiotic Awareness Week, Pfizer invited us to a press conference last November 7, Wednesday, from 10 AM–1 PM at the New World Makati Hotel.

Here, their guest doctors outlined alarming stories that cause Anti Microbial Resistance. Possible caises is when you do not follow the exact prescription, or when you stop taking medicine when you start feeling well, worst is when you let others botrow your prescription, which is totally wrong as we all have unique characteristics.

DLSU MaFIA to Hold 2nd Global Finance Convention

Have you ever wondered how economic disturbances such as high inflation and rising interest rates have affected the economy over the past years? The De La Salle University-Manila’s Management of Financial Institutions Association (MaFIA) aims to #GlobalizeFinancialCompetency by hosting their 2nd Global Finance Convention this November 24, 2018 (Saturday) from 1 PM - 6 PM at the 5th floor of the Henry Sy Sr. Hall.

The theme for this year's GFC is "Going beyond the Global Standard of Financial Literacy", which aims to Grow Financial Consciousness by discussing different topics such as Financial Management for Entrepreneurs, State Markets: An Economic Outlook for 2019, and Personal Finance.

Get to witness notable speakers from the Finance, Business and Economics industry such as RJ Ledesma, Arlyn Tan, Jonathan Ravelas and Dexter Agcaoili as they equip the youth with more knowledge.
