Established September 2010 at the University of the Philippines, the Metropolitan Alliance of Communication Students, formerly known as Metro Manila Alliance of Communication Students has been advocating Media Education as means of developing the Self, the Region and the Nation.
With visions of further improving the connections and promoting the advocacy of the Alliance, #CONNECTED, the very first Convention presented by MACS that catered all communication students in metro manila was held last year.
On its 5th year, with the mission of creating stronger connection between the industry and the communication students around the Philippines, we proudly bring "#CONNECTED2015: One Nation for Media Education" with The Reporter’s Notebook Team on Investigative Journalism, Patricia Evangelista on Alternative Journalism, Jing Castaneda on Communication in Leadership and Public Service, Third Domingo on Advertising, Marnie Manicad on Performance in Media Arts and Nikki Gil on Hosting.
Happening this September 27, 2015 from 8 o'clock in the morning until 6 o'clock in the evening at SM North EDSA Skydome.
