READY, SET, GO: DOE Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella waves the starting flag in kicking off the 13th DOE Fuel Economy Run at Clark, Pampanga Nov. 20-22.

The aim of the Fuel Economy Run was to raise awareness on the importance of fuel-efficient technology in automobiles and the positive impact of said technology on motorists and the environment.

As part of its efforts to promote better awareness of fuel-efficient technology in vehicles, the Department of Energy (DOE), with Petron Corporation, conducted the 13th DOE Fuel Economy Run on 20-21 November in Clark, Pampanga.

“Through this event, we will be able to determine fuel consumption rating in kilometers per liter of different brand new vehicles available in the market in accordance with actual highway driving conditions,” DOE Undersecretary Wimpy Fuentebella said as he spoke on behalf of Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi during the opening program.

A total of 55 participants consisting of sedans, service utility vehicles (SUV), multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) and pickups from various car manufacturers joined the fuel economy run with 26 vehicles running on diesel and 26 vehicles on gasoline.

“DOE aims to empower our consumers in their choice of vehicle by putting a premium on energy efficiency,” Fuentebella added.

Results were announced during the awarding ceremonies afternoon of Tuesday (21 November) based on the evaluation of the participants’ statistics after the run.

For the diesel entries, the Volkswagen Golf GTS was the most fuel-efficient vehicle in the sedan category with a fuel economy rating of 27.91 kilometers/liter (km/L). In the SUV category, Ssangyong Rodius topped the list with a rating of 33.12 km/L.

Toyota Innova had the highest rating of 21.60 km/L for the MPV category, while Mahindra Supro ranked the most fuel-efficient vehicle in the pickup category with a rating of 22.52 km/L.

For the gasoline entries, Kia Picanto posted the highest rating of 29.23 km/L for the sedan category, while the Honda BR-V with a rating of 22.22 km/L emerged the best in the SUV category.

The Chevrolet Trax led the MPV category with a rating of 17.98 km/L, while the BAIC Freedom ranked the most fuel-efficient in the pickup category with a rating of 15.10 km/L.

Fuentebella explained that “the results of the fuel economy run will help our vehicle-buying public know the car’s fuel economy performance rating before they purchase any of them.”

I just found out about my husband cheating on me with a co-worker! We’ve been married going on two years. 2kids. lots of amazing momments together. i want to leave, but i love him so much. all i can think about is how nothing stopped him. how he has to see her everyday because they work together. we are both still young and very attractive. but i want my husband, my friend, and the father of my beautiful children. how do i get past the thought of another woman having my husband? Not my fiancé, not my boyfriend, but my husband! i still love him even though he thinks i want to leave i really want him to do better and stop me before i walk out! my husband told me that he doesn’t feel loved anymore, just because of this co-worker he has be cheating on with me that he wants a divorce, i was devastated, heart broken i begged him to listen to me that we can work it out like we always do, but he didn’t listen, he told me that he met someone that loves and understands him, i begged him to consider our kids but he’s did listen. he left and i was frustrated, i began searching for help and answers, then i heard about a man that can Cast a spell to remind him of all the things we have been through together, at first I was scared then i decided to give it a try, and like magic my husband came back, apology and begging for forgiveness, thanks to this man, I’m posting this to help people with
