Home Credit Review: Easy, Simple, and Fast Loan Application

Wazzup Pilipinas!

If you haven't heard of it yet, there's a fast and easy way to purchase gadgets, appliances, or any item that you like, on installment basis.

I needed a better phone to receive text messages and calls other than the other mobile phones with bigger display screens that I use for browsing the Internet in checking my e-mails and social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

My contact lists are increasing in number every day and I needed a phone dedicated for communication tasks only, something that is small enough to fit in my pocket and one that I can easily put out to receive or send text messages and calls even while commuting.

Thus it was about time I purchase another phone. But since I also wanted to manage my budget, I thought it would be better to purchase one through installment basis so my monthly expenses will be conveniently affordable.

So one afternoon, I visited SM Megamall to check out a new smartphone when I was approached by a Home Credit representative offering to help me buy this new phone I wanted through easy installment terms. I was intrigued by this no-hassle process that only requires you to submit two valid IDs and some names and contact numbers of friends and relatives as references.

So I followed their representative and gave all the information they asked for. Don't worry, they would not require your friends or relatives to be co-makers; it was just another way of validating your identity. You will also be asked to submit a few social media accounts probably as additional methods of verifying the information you have provided. All of these checks were done during my stay in the mall, having coffee. While waiting, I got a good chat with Charles, the Home Credit representative who approached me. I found that Home Credit is present in major malls in the country. You can find them in stores like SM Appliance Center, which is where I was, as well as Abenson, Western Appliances, Silicon Valley, Memo Xpress, and Automatic Centre. They are also present in malls outside Metro Manila like Cebu, Pampanga, Batangas, Cabanatuan, among others. So my wait lasted for around 30 minutes. I got a call just after applying, followed by an SMS notifying us if our application has been approved or declined.

There would also be a cash-out requirement (down payment). The more you initially pay, the lighter your monthly payments will be.

It was indeed fast and convenient since everything was processed in probably less than an hour. In fact, it even took me longer to choose a mobile phone model. So if ever you want to buy a gadget through Home Credit, be sure to have a firm decision already on what to buy, otherwise, the process will be repeated from the start.

The guy facilitating the Home Credit application was courteous and patient enough to explain to me everything I needed to consider, and helped me out throughout the entire interview. Though it seemed I was in a job interview, the questions asked were really required to help them verify my identity.

They would also require to get your fingerprint using their scanning equipment setup. That's an added security to probably make sure no one would dare show up pretending to be you and use your identity. I'm not sure if they would also check your fingerprint scans against existing records as they would also ask you for your Social Security System (SSS) number and Tax Identification Number (TIN).

It's a great way to assure you that they are extra careful with regards to entertaining only requests from valid customers who have the capacity to pay and would not cause any disastrous consequences for the client’s budget stability.

All the information HCP receives from its customers is treated with utmost confidentiality.

I was approved of my loan in less than an hour and I’m now enjoying my new Samsung Galaxy J2!

I would like to thank Home Credit for the experience and would highly recommend the service to those who don’t want to pay the full amount right away. This is a great way to manage your expenses by spreading it out in easy monthly installments. They have zero interests available too, so you may want to take advantage of that.

So if you need a new gadget for all your online, video or audio needs, a new appliance for your living room, kitchen or entertainment center, Home Credit makes it possible for you to conveniently divide your payments throughout the term of several months or even a year or more.

  1. I'm glad I have someone who got the same good experience in having a loan in this company. I don't understand why people write offensive and untrue home credit reviews for the sake of sympathizing them well in fact, they just didn't became responsible in paying their obligations.
