The recent outreach at an orphanage in New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City was a heartfelt gathering of community advocates, volunteers, and organizers dedicated to bringing joy, care, and inspiration to the children of this sanctuary. Established as a safe haven for orphans, Darul Aytam is a place where young lives are nurtured not only with basic needs but through education and faith.
Ross Flores Del Rosario, founder of Wazzup Pilipinas, took part in a heartfelt outreach program held at this Islamic Education & Guidance Association Orphanage, The initiative was a collaborative effort involving community advocates, some of Ross' correspondents led by Renz Delim, Jenylin Dangel, together with their former colleagues, current work superiors, and friends from Diverse Coffee—a socially responsible brand dedicated to brewing more than just coffee and making a lasting positive impact in the community, together with other sponsors.
The group conducted short talks, food distribution and several games for the children to enjoy that day. All of the children, not just the active respondents and game winners, were rewarded with prizes to cherish. The outreach was mainly hosted by the proprietor of D'Angels Collection.
During the outreach, Diverse Coffee, aside from the short talk from one of its owners, also generously distributed hygiene kits to all the children of the orphanage, helping promote healthy habits among the young beneficiaries. Ross engaged the children with a short talk focused on caring for the environment, instilling awareness and responsibility towards nature at an early age. He also delivered an inspirational closing speech, encouraging the children to be exemplary members of society despite their youth.
The event was further enriched through a partnership with "Jack & the Whirlstone Guardian," a story by Michael McGregor, aiming to inspire young minds through the power and magic of storytelling. They were not able to personally join the event due to a family emergency but they sponsored the cost of the food for the children.

Street distribution of food was held also in the streets to benefit street workers like vendors, PUV drivers, including children.
Ross himself drove his personal vehicle as part of the convoy transporting the volunteers, food and supplies to the venue. The outreach extended beyond the orphanage to include food distribution to street children and hardworking community workers such as public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers and street vendors, exemplifying a comprehensive community care approach.
As the day concluded, the smiles on the children’s faces, hardworking people on the streets, and the collective spirit of generosity underscored the true essence of community caring. Through stories, talks, and shared moments of kindness, the outreach did more than provide material support—it planted seeds of hope, responsibility, and belonging. This event not only touched the lives of the children at Darul Aytam, people on the streets, but also strengthened the bonds among advocates who remain committed to nurturing the next generation to be compassionate and engaged members of society. The outreach stands as a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can transform lives and inspire lasting change.
